Hi. Apologies for not responding earlier. Before I start with anything else, thanks a tonne for the lovely comments you left on the chapters earlier. I loved them immensely. Having a new reader never fails to excite me.
Here also I really appreciate your comment. Thank you for taking out the time to respond. True, it has been a long time since the serial ended and can totally understand the waning of readers interest thereby resulting in lesser activity.
However kind of disagree with readers forgetting to press like button because to me that simply means one doesn't care enough. You can be busy at that moment, but can still come later.
I am not leaving the forum, at least not until I finish HKA and DBU. As for this story, I am continuing it in my blog with different names. If different names doesn't bother you, you can read it there. Either that, or once I finish the story on my blog, I will post the entire thing here so that ones who actually commented and liked don't feel betrayed.
Have a nice day!
Mea Culpa! I guess, I have been guilty on occasion of hurriedly reading an update while multitasking and forgetting to press the like button... and perhaps that's the reason, I was trying to excuse such behaviour :-). But completely understand where you are coming from. Relieved to know that you will continue to write (such a pity if you stopped because you are truly a very gifted writer with a rare ability to scorch and delight one's heart at the same time. I have decided -- you are either a wise and wizened old woman of 100+ years with loads of life's experiences to draw upon or one who was born unbelievably mature with deep insights into the human heart and mind and all its complexities).
Just a heads-up -- I have a LOT of catching up to do on HKA. Distance Between Us is waiting for me to discover and of course the continuation of this story. I have just been ultra busy the last many weeks and also have quite a bit of traveling coming up. I will probably not be able to read/comment till early Feb. Keep writing. I absolutely love your style. Didn't want you to think that this new reader appeared like a meteor and just fizzled out into the darkness without a trace.
Wishing you a joyous and successful 2020 and more power to your creative side.
