That's what is using his own judgement & not following blindly or allowing her to exploit a situation like she did during his captaincy & converted a fun task into a dirty fight. Asim should take her side while she's fighting her personal fights with Sid, he gets tainted by her dirt. Whatever you call it. He can be friendly with everyone in the house but not get used by them. That's the whole point. He had consciously done it throughout the weak & not supporting Vishal was one of such acts.
