Kangana is brilliant on-screen but...

She is NOT a star. All her films have opened below 5 crores, except for Manikarnika, and that can be labelled as external factors at play, the character itself being larger-than-life. I see a lot of comments on Youtube and Twitter, praising her to the skies, but that does not translate into footfalls in the cinema halls. I don't think she has a solid fan following.

Keeping her off-screen personality aside, is there a reason why people don't like to see her movies in the theaters?

She don't have the scree presence and aura of a star.

Don't know about others but I wouldn't pay money to watch her...... Esp after how she snatched the directors credit in Manikarnika.... Being a VFX artist myself, that's a big crime in my eyes....

Infact I don't even watch her movies for free

She could have become a bankable star even if she doesnt have the superstar aura as she was chosing good films and did some comedies like TWMR. But its her off screen personality and all the drama done by her and Rangoli is whats made people despise her.
