I understand channel is not showing content around Asim, but channel does not hate him or ignore him. Actually, channel consider him contender to Shukla. In their banner they are keeping both in front. Channel and Salman is keeping him wrapped little bit, Salman been appreciative of him, and Asim neither argue with Salman nor licked his A$$. And they are seeing Asim popularity is increasing, which is adding to their TRP. Why to fix something which is not broken.

To me, Asim and Shukla are natural contenders but channel pushing Rashmi in the mix. Paras, Mahira and Sana are junior artists.

Himanshi as a contestant gave very little massy content . she tried to be over dignified about the sana fight for which she was here. That doesn't work well with BB .

Well I don’t agree that Himanshi was less massy content, infact she was smart and was opening up. She was the one binding group.. yes she was not aggressive like Mahira and paras! But that is not what we need as content. And Iam not talking about Asim and Himanshi’s love angle.. but their friendship, which people were loving. The fact that she has been trending a lot of twitter since she left, speaks a lot of the love she and Asim were getting together. She was smart, she had strong views and would also give back to the bullies while maintaining dignity. I think she was a much better player than Arti, Mahira x shefali b and Shefali J and Bhau.

BB bias has been very prominent in this season. BB is biased in fav of Sid & Rashmi; while Sid has an advantageous edge over Rashmi if you compare between them. But the rest of the HMs have suffered different degrees of vilification for going against Shukla.

It was Asim's good luck that he started with Shukla, so his initial image wasn't negative, while Paras, Rashmi & Mahira started against Sid, their initial image was setup as negative & they haven't yet recovered completely from that. 😊

Of course I do wholeheartedly appreciate Bigg boss in that context bcoz the show made it possible for us to know him. I am not trying to take it away from them.

Asim had been with Shukla initially, Channel's fabourite and thats why he was promoted with Shukla. Few days after he left, things started to change because he turned out to be a strong contender. So suddenly he was started to be potrayed as some villain in promos.

You know why so many people are pissed at Shukla? Bcoz he's been showered with advantages and favours just because he's a channel guy. Then whats the point of even playing the game?

More than supporting any contestant, as a BB fan, i like to watch a fair game and not bias for anybody not even Asim. I would hate that too.

Ps: he has reached a stage in the game where makers can't unfairly fire him like they did with Himanshi. Fans will go beserk and their own trps will get affected hugely.

I agree to this too. Channel is behind Shukla and Rashmi and evening Sana to an extent but not Asim but they do recognise Asim’s potential. They sideline him but also let him shine in some moments! They’re still confused about what to do with Asim imo.

In my list of likes I have Sid , sana , shefali b , Asim,shefali j .

Paras , mahira , vishal all sometimes I like sometimes I dont !!!!

Asim I have always liked . He is a kind soul .He cant see people cry or in pain genuinely .

He is young but much more balanced in his thinking compared to likes of rashmi .

He also realises who is trying to do what , but at times is forced to go along because of the game .

Where he lacks for me is because of his inexperience he is not able to generate content consistently .He has very few angles open for him . !

So he has these episodic issues where he generates content .

ANd as he is young and from a family of educated people , he is not used to the industry tactics yet . So he gets upset and goes into his shell. Have observed that this week .

Also not having worked in industry , he is not aware of how to use camera angles to his advantage !!

Have not metioned sid anywhere when describing him , would want similar lines for all !!

Beautifully put. Agree and disagree to some points but as you said it is your opinion and respect that.

I do understand about the not being used to industry and inexperienced part but I feel that a person should play a dignified way as well. Content makers are Paras and Mahira as well but are they being majorly liked? Maybe minority because any sane person cannot tolerate watching them. Consistently mocking people, making fun. Also you said in another post that by cleaning washrooms thats not the thing. But I want to tell you it is not just about cleaning washrooms. It is about not getting captaincy over your head and still doing chores which other housemates didnt choose to do. When Paras and Vikas claimed he pokes people and takes sympathy, if he really wanted to poke he would have given punishment to Mahira or Madhu for not doing their work as I read about Unseen video rather he chose to do work himself. Its about the gesture and his humility and not merely washing bathrooms.

He is playing by far in the most dignified way and has been the warmest contestant.

Who in BB house has ever show gestures like these:

- Asking Sids health and telling him to not smoke much when Sana said he is too ill go ask about him.

-Consoling Sana the very same day Sana & co targetted and fought with him.

-Getting quiet even though he has received endless pushes from people.

-Being on pain killers yet not making a huge deal out of it.

-Giving Arti his letter.

-Fighting for Bhau against Shefali though Bhau didn't appreciate it.

-Massaging Shuklas legs to help Sana & not even jataofying to Sid.

-Appreciating Mahiras gesture so so so much and keeping on and on and on telling her sayung sorry and saying he owes it to her.

Mahira's gesture was really sweet but she did it because she was feeling very low that weak as her major support system wasnt there yet Asim has done sweet gestures like these countless times without feeling weak and Asims gesture are never appreciated yet he appreciated Mahiras gesture alot.
