Why does VD only want to work with the same set of directors ?? 🤔 I refuse to believe he isn't getting better offers...

As if the first one wasn’t torturous enough.

Below average. No, the TRP was also not impressive. TV channels don't air it either. Pair pe kulhari hai yeh. War dekh ke isse laga iss time buddy cop ko eff buddy cop movie bana de.

TRP was good I think. I remember reading somewhere that it broke some TRP record . I can’t remember much, but it definitely did well on TV

Varun is a copy cat . When Bajirao was successful, he wanted a historical movie and got Kalank.

Tried to do a Lootera in October and he was weak.

Tried aping Salman and Judwa 2 success gave him false confidence

Now trying to cash on War .

He will never be top star, he will just be like Akshay, Ajay and Sunil in 90s .

You are right. It had the third most highest TRP on its WTP.

But did it sustain? I remember Flying Jatt getting highest TRP on its premiere, but no one probably watched the next few... so that one is not on TV anymore.

Family can be a blessing and a curse. They prop you up at the right times. But the price is too big.Just look at the mediocre films Hrithik Roshan and Emraan Hashmi did for their families' sake.

No one knew about Flying Jatt before it came on TV. Somehow , Dishoom has “impression” of a successful movie. I don’t know where it came from, it is definitely in minds of people as a successful movie. Maybe coz it was PR or hot songs ? IDK.

Regardless, it is a stupid decision to make part 2

Another example of someone who gets movies despite a million flops. Varun is so blah. I used to find him hot and good looking, but not anymore....
