Yeah that’s why they say “inspired” because it’s not entirely her story. If it’s entirely her story then it’s a biopic.

Girl nope. Laxmi and Meghna have been working hands in hands together even before DP was a part of the mix. For every thing Meghna went to Laxmi to shape it up which is why Laxmi and her partner have already watched the movie even before the team. The movie is about her, inspired by her life but it’s not a biopic. There’s a clear difference.

I don’t like how people don’t look into it and try to make it look like she is being abused or whatsoever.

I know Laxmi has been working with Meghna on it for a long time, that’s why she probably thought it was a biopic until just recently. A lot of her posts before are about how Deepika is playing Laxmi. I guess they didn’t want to give biopic credit and now it’s just “inspired by”

But you said recently. It’s not until recently they decided that it’s not a biopic they decided long time ago which is why the character name is Malti and not Laxmi.
