Three years in a row with all non-Khan films being highest grossers of the year. Last time this happened was before 1989 that means after 30 years.
In 2017, it was Bahubali 2(Prabhas), in 2018, it was Sanju(Ranbir Kapoor), and in 2019, it is War(Hrithik Roshan and 🐅 Shroff)
Also two years in a row with top 4 highest grossing films also being non-Khan films.
In 2018 it was :
1. Sanju (Ranbir)
2. Padmaavat (Ranveer, Deepika),
3. Simmba (Ranveer)
4. 2.0 (Akshay, Rajinikanth)
And in 2019 it is :
1. War(Hrithik, 🐅)
2. Kabir Singh (Shahid)
3. Uri (Vicky)
4. 🏠 full 4 (Akshay)
