Vishal Jethwa deserves to get lead roles.

So I watched Mardaani 2 and while the movie was a good thriller, it got a little bit too filmy at times and also forgettable to be honest. A more darker handling of the story could've made it more nerve chilling. The constant breaking of fourth wall by the villain was innovative though.

Although what really made me impressed was Vishal Jethwa's performance as the psycho rapist. The guy has got awesome acting skills and screen presence. Him showing so much confidence in his debut performance is praiseworthy. This guy is also very good looking and would suit in romantic movies. Anti-nepotism brigade should support this guy and not let him get typecasted in negative roles. I hope he gets Filmfare award for best debutante and not some star kid.

Yes, I liked him too. His character was chilling. Pure evil. For Vishal to pull off someone so dark like that in his first movie shows that he has serious acting chops.

Lead actor maybe in movies which would suit him, kinda like the Udaans and all that ilk.

But leading BW actor, looks too vanila for that.

I am suprised how can you judge someone without even watching his acting. His acting skills are far better than most of the well established actors.
