Its not love its sour grapes. He cant stand her being happy ..her having friends. He knows that he is not capable of having real friendships..but she is. She is capable of having nice interactions even with people from the 'enemy gang'. He knows Asim teamed up with Rashmi because theyre both capable of listening to people..that theyre both able to be likeable individuals. He cant stand it!. And how dare they reject him?

I just watched the part of episode when Rashmi showed Mahira her place but couldn’t ignore how Sid looked amused watching her. Don’t know if he is enjoying her agony.

Even in secret room whenever Rashami was shown he was giving commentary. He can't ignore her. And during the nomination task when Rashami was entering Confession Room something happened like door hit her and she bend to touch the floor or something like that which I am not clear and he said "Seriously?" He notices even the smallest things about her.

Its nit love, its his elephant sized ego that has got hurt. Please do nit romanticise this shit.
