What was VG's plan?

Can anyone please tell me what was vikas's plan in having a word from Rashmi and Madhurima for each other? And why did madhurima cry?

He is leaving BB ..! He came for 2 weeks..! And he made Rashmi a person who will support Madhu after him because she needs someone in house

Madhu is a very important member of current BB and needs a support. So he deceived Rashmi into a promise to support this very prominent person in the house once he leaves maybe this weekend.

Vikas is a fool.He thinks he can promise to Arhaan that he will give him a ride and extract a promise from Rashmi. If he can break the promise of supporting Arhaan for captaincy he should be ready to see Rashmi also betraying him.

He trusts Rashmi and based on previous acts of Rashmi she can be trusted. Probably the only person in the house which can be trusted and lastly it was good revenge towards arhaan because he insulted him yesterday so he knows what kind of person arhaan. Jab kaam hota hai respect and jab kaam khatam insult. Vikas recognises people their core nature.

And how is VG sure that madhurima will be safe this week?
