Rest whatever you said makes perfect sense. MJ isn't perfect at all, and that makes the writing absolutely perfect. If he'd done what you described, that would have made him a better husband and would have gone a step further in achieving perfection as a human being (consoling his wife) but he didn't do that, and that's why his egoistic, self-obsessed self comes to the fore. I was in essence complimenting the writing.

Aare biwi wanted to check out the package. To obviously this was best option. Ghar se nikalte waqt weather department se puch liya hoga, kitne baje barish hogi so she can make him stand there and get drenched. Umbrella bhi lai thi sath.
