Jennifer Winget: I am very lazy. I take up a project only when I really like the concept
She is one of the most sought-after actresses on TV. Popular for her obsessive-lover role in the first season of Beyhadh, Jennifer is back as the jilted lover, Maya, with the second edition of the show. And she is already garnering rave reviews for her acting chops on the show. In the recent past, Jennifer has chosen shows, which aren't your typical saas-bahu dramas that revolve around kitchen politics. Instead, she is opting for content-driven projects.
Talking about her choices, she says, "I think I have been lucky to have landed roles which are meaningful. Also, it is important that when you are doing a TV show, there is clarity and a defined start and end to it. It is not that I have kept away from the usual TV shows but when the entire team is in sync with a particular concept, there is a certain satisfaction in working. Also, I am very lazy, so I take up something only when I really like the concept."
Beyhadh 2' also features Ashish Chowdhry and Shivin Narang. While Ashish last played the title role in 'Dev', the latter was last seen in the youth-oriented show, 'Internet Wala Love'.
