I agree with you guys. Jennifer's dedication to her characters are commendable. She grows the character into her so well that it becomes her second nature. Especially if we see the transition form Maya to Zoya to again Maya. 👏

Maybe she wanted to punish/ terrify him with words for his close talk with her mother!

Or to prevent him from meeting Ananya, who was searching for him calling him nearer the lift which Maya watched!

Or she wanted to prevent him from introducing her to his people who must be still waiting for him in the near vicinity!

But the most admiring thing here is --I am sure the real reason must be beyond our imagination, which is attracting me in this serial!!
