And that reminds me, I always keep forgetting to say this, Avni's look during Neil and Rhea's sangeet was so glam!! She looked really pretty in that one. Her entire ensemble was gorgeous and her earrings really stood out. Neil should have done a double-take seeing her that day, but our banda was always above the usual stuff. 😆

CC mein usually essays likhti hoon main toh sometimes, when I don't have much time, I just check and then go if no one's posted anything.

Yep, just saw a pic of it. He has really good hair and it is a big part of his looks so obviously, shaving it off must be painful for him. 😆

Sayesha and KK were both very immature and their love story was super sped up. I think the whole point of the teen pregnancy track was to show how Avni gets them married to save another child from an illegitimate fate - something that she couldn't do for her parents and herself. And yep, Sayesha was plenty annoying before her wedding. She never could think for herself and was very easily influenced by others' thoughts.

The makers definitely lost interest in the story post the 10-year leap and the tracks weren't as compelling as earlier - they weren't as per NK standards but still better than some thrash that some other itv shows dish out. And after watching it all, I'm still glad that they didnt ruin the characters completely.

That episode where they implied that Avni got the gun-seller to confess that he sold the gun to Vidyut (I have no idea why they didn't actually show this scene - it felt very abrupt to see AvNeil at home and talking about it but we didn't get the flashback we were waiting for 🤷‍♀️), and Neil proposed that Avni could join the police force as an interrogation expert - it was so cool to hear that! If only they had acted on it and shown Avni to become professionally active, they could keep the story going for at least another year without the leap. The whole leap was not needed - just to show Avni doing right by an unwed mother, they came up with the leap and ended up depriving us of AvNeil becoming parents in the process.

I just realised I haven't spoken about the jail track epis either. They were indeed fun. When I saw Avni-Vidyut's first meeting at Vidyut's house, I knew he would end up falling for her to the ends of obsession. 😆 (I came across some fab Neil-Avni-Vidyut VMs when browsing insta , though I didn't save any links. ) Throughout the show, I loved some of the small touches that they would add to the scenes/story. Like Neil always sleeping on the floor when Avni was in prison - and Avni realising it on her return. Then Avni's mangalsutra as Neil's bracelet after her death was the COOLEST thing everrr!  ❤️

Avni was such a badass in jail. 😎 Case 123 ki yaad aagayi. 😆 Every time AvNeil were pitted against a strong villian, it was fun to watch even when the villians were winning because that only brought out the wickedness of AvNeil. 😎 Kamini was a phuski as a villian - Mowgli bhi uske gundo se bachke nikal gaya. 🤣 Saabit kar diya ke AvNeil ka beta hain. 😆

And my absolute favourite was Neil's Duggaaaa Dugga! I've seen a couple of promos about the leap, will check out the others as well.

Aur bhi bohot hain jail track aur post leap ke baare me bolne ke liye, lekin ye essay bohot zyaada lamba ho gaya hain 🤣 aur abhi EBSS pe comment karna baaki hain. 😆

Re EBSS, I think more than AdiZa fans, the whole mudslinging on Aditi must have also put people off. Also, I haven't watched the show but as per a couple of promos, Kabir's wife (Kavya?) was supposed to be the good bahu and Jhanvi the vengeful one, so how did they pair Kabir and Jhanvi? Did they kill off Kavya or turned her negative overnight? Also, what happened to Jhanvi's husband? She didn't appear to be a widow in the promos.

Saesha ko jaane de...no comments on that irritating girl. They showed Avni leaving everything behind n taking care of so many illegitimate kids, that was enough to show what they wanted to show though they often used orphan n illegitimate interchangeably😆

Avni building her career n getting the Mehta khandaan known by her name was the most needed thing to happen in this show, sadly it never happened for the sake of that stupid leap. Avni's illegitimacy n manhoos kismat is what they tried to emphasize on till last episode.

Avni's Mangalsutra on Neil's wrist was goals of the goals thing!!! Just when I thought this husband goals guy can't set anymore goals...he came up with this mangalsutra n then him breaking that mangalsutra was the most heart breaking scene in post leap episodes...most heart breaking!!!

Those jail break promos itself had set the bar a notch higher...n they delivered in the episodes on the standards they set in the promos. Avni in jail track was my most favourite phase of Avni. Aisi female lead roz dekhne nahi milti n Aditi had improved by leaps n bounds till that time. Nobody can believe this cute clumsy Aditi can play such a badass role.

Kamini was useless...faltu ki trp material maa thi wo😆 Mowgli was avneil's son in every way😆

Vidyut n Jail track deserves per episode separate discussion😆

About ebss, Kavya was kabir's best friends wife. The three of them used to be good friends. His friend died while saving him from the terrorist attack n he made him promise that he'll accept his wife n son n will take care of them. That's how Kavya was kabir's wife...so they didn't have husband wife relationship. Initially they focussed on KK relationship n jhanvi's revenge as two parallel track where Kavya was trying to win her in-laws' hearts n hence becomes hurdle in jhanvi's ways. So jhanvi wants her out n she plots for that. Kavya realises the true identity of jhanvi n tries to reveal but nobody believes her n throw her out. This focussed more on Kavya n jhanvi n it was typical good bahu bad bahu drama. Audience wanted the focus on Zain n shrenu. So they had to go for a revamp. Hence they got Kabir Kavya divorced n she disappeared along with her son. Jhanvi's husband went into depression due to revelation of jhanvi's real identity n how she never loved him n was plotting revenge against him n all. So wo bewda ho gaya😆 fir Kabir family homeless, kabir jhanvi ki tashan, jhanvi's arrogance n kabir's goodness, Kabir reaches his tolerence level n get back at her to teach her a lesson, then hate Shaadi n gradually both turn good n fall in love😵
