I have been and is an ardent of SGP. So I can kind of sense how things might go. The vibe for both shows are the same. Couple in SGP too weren't in love when they married and then slowly came together. I expect the same here.

Surbub are like jokers for the show.. Bro gang usually backed Yogi always.. if they show Yogi in devdas mode, I don't see them supporting Gunjan 100% to back then relation unless some stupidity is shown & some other character is made bali ka bakra.

I've no clue about SGP but generally based on my ITV experience with leads.. . its usually 3 scenarios for marriage:

1. Hate waala marriage - hero hates heroine for some stupid reason - vice versa is very rare, later MU cleared, fall in love during this hate process it self - first become friends.. later u know

2. Family force them into marriage - usually leads don't like each other but come together - most EK miayya shows follow this concept

3. Contract marriage

4. Very rarely - love marriage, other than very few shows no successful lovers ended marrying up without any issue. Probs start post that.

but in IIM.. hero was already in love with Gunjan to begin with, its not the 1st time love after marriage. So the concept is a bit different compared to the regular ITV shows.

Gunjan has scope which the writers haven't explored and Simran hasn't done justice either. I'll leave Gunjan there.

Wouldn't completely support this. If two people are getting married, spend time and then realise they don't love each other and CANNOT live in the marriage, then go for divorce. Here, Pakya is forcing Yogi, but it is Yogi who is getting into the marriage in full consciousness. In this case, he has to stay in the marriage and do his best to love Gunjan and give her a happy life. If he is getting into the marriage thinking he can never love Gunjan and will always be in love with Pari, then he is the one ruining Gunjan's life directly. Shiv and Pakya are indirect participants.

I don't want to hope for YoRi just for the sake of having an interesting story. Writers need to justify whichever way they go.

If it is YoJan (I keep saying this 😆) it would be interesting to see how the family warms up to Gunjan. I hope they aren't cold towards her. They are to blame Pakya, Yogi and Pari for it.

SGP had contract type marriage. FL decided to marry ML out of revenge because her BF termed her as not marriage material. ML loves FL. So the first half was how few family members make FL realise that she indeed has fallen in love with ML. FL stays back after marriage because she loves the family and became friends with ML. I find the situation kind of similar somehow.

Gunjan was never shown as a bad person unlike Shiv or his extended family. If Gunjan does get her voice back.. the disability thing will be struck off from her resume & she would be able to get match but the bigger problem over then would be .. she will be a divorcee, getting her married is another taboo in our society - this show as it is deals with only shaadis from the starting. I don't think our makers that are good enough to deal with multiple societal taboos.

Is Gunjan that important character to show her remarriage ? I mean once she divorce Yogi she can move on to another city or county and story focus will be on Yogi and Pari but if Gunjan is important character thn I see no Yogi pari story coming up ... infact time to say bye to Pari ...but I still feel Yogi not going to fall for Gunjan again ...it will look stupid and his character will be butchered ....he may try to adjust but not going to fall for Gunjan....

How I still wish and hope Shaadi not happening so we can see Yogi pari story but I guess Gunjan is makers favorite so she is getting importance and Pari who worked hard and getting audience is not getting what she deserves....only reason I hate ITV ....

Sorry to interfere but I see no similarities btwn SGP and IIM except loving joint family....here Yogi loved Gunjan but now he love someone else and Gunjan still love him but she left him once so I see no true love ... falling in love with same person is possible only if you stop loving that person for stupid reason ...here Yogi moved on and fall in love with Pari and he truly loves her and ready to do anything for her even if she ask him to marry Gunjan 🤦 I see no Yogi Gunjan love story coming up yes they can compromise like some of arrange marriage couples do but no love atleast from Yogi side .

I am not talking about the love story here but the situation in the marriage where one person loves the other, but the other is in love with someone else. Both decide to stay in marriage for family sake.

Why did Yogi move on? Because Gunjan was a bad person? No. He moved on assuming Gunjan has moved on and is in love with Roshan. Which isn't the case. So Yogi doesn't hate Gunjan. Just is in love with Pari now.

YoRi was too rushed to understand when exactly Yogi fell in love with Pari. So there is a weak link there.

Clarifying- I am not for YoJan, but that seem to be the possibility here.

I'm not interested in how family is shown warming up to her.. as I saw tht story in gazillion shows by now 😛

in SGP it was one sided love at the least na.. here it was 2 side love & heart broken in the process as well. So it makes it a different scenario. If it was one sided love - Yogi & Gunjan didn't love each other .. I would've accepted it but here she cheated him - in the name of revenge. Voh khud apni pair pe kulhaadi maar di. Now she's back to Yogi only bcoz Chauhan's ditched her.

It makes ML worthless - a doormat, here they're making fun of his disability - mute & deaf, where as Gunjan is only mute. Anyone can take advantage of him bcoz of his disability according to their need.

First his disability was the reason to fix Yogi & Gunjan marriage.. then the same disabilities became reason to break it.. now its again the same to fix marriage again, as Shiv couldn't find proper match after Chauhan's broke it off.

If 2morrow Shiv finds another lad who's only deaf & not mute, he'll be ready to fix Gunjan's shaadi with him, as he has only prob or will repent post marriage that why didn't I find this guy earlier. This will go on into never ending cycle.

yes Gunjan is an main character until she's disabled at the least. Show is Ishaaron Ishaaron mein, they could show parallel stories of how 2 disabled persons lead their lives. One found his true love while other didn't but succeeded in her career may be ? It depends on the route CV's choose. One thing for sure is Gunjan isn't going anywhere.
