Generally speaking , this is the problem with every man in india bec they are brought up that way..you will understand this only when you get married and you live in a joint family...things are changing , children dont want to live with their parents anymore , everyone asks for freedom and space and privacy..but in a nuclear set up also, every other dil has this same issue in her family ..if you look around you will know..
From.mohinis pov, as a mother , who is so obsessive for her son, for whom she was the most important person in his life ,suddenly changes when he gets married or loves some other woman ..nothing but human emotions....this is how love is ...from anurags pov, he never saw this as a problem , that's his lack of understanding of the dynamics between a mil and dil. He thinks his mother will accept the girl he loves for his happiness..he never addressed this problem, and this I noticed a lot of times specially during his wedding before bajaj..how he bulldozed her feelings ..so when a mother is treated like this, she will react and react strongly. This isn't a woman is against woman thing..this is the problem with all mothers and their boys.. men are incapable of understanding women's emotions by large..they can never understand his family politics ..they either keep quiet and ignorr or react too strongly ..yes very few are able to balance , but for that , their wife has to be more understanding and compromising because elders DO NoT understand or adjust in their age.
Let me tell you ,you all have millions of issue with moh and moh is not your mother in law ok😆 But in reality, the girl doesnt have that much of a problem if her husband is supportive ..like moh can blackmail anurag with her emotional drama, anurag ca n do it too..they have that much power on each other....this is what you are trying to explain me , that anurag will stand up for what's right...,I know it already..he won't stand up for "what's right " , he will stand up for those he love ..and he loves both the women in his life equally..neither will be abandon any one of them nor shout at them and Express his disappointment ..he is ma ka laadla, he will manipulate both with his emotional drama..like mother like son..so I dont have a problem with him and moh ..nor do I expect anything ..in this garbage,I have repeatedly said this, moh dynamics with anurag is the only sane thing which intrigues me..
And unlike you all, I have a different view of moh..class difference was once upon a time but her issues with prerna now r mainly bec of her ditching anurag at the mandap and anurag going berserk for her...giving up.his life for prerna..a mother can never accept this self destructive behavior of children..they will.try to protect their children in this case and not try to give them what they want ..that's the reason why veena also advises prerna against the basus...but she doesnt listen..nor does anurag so their moms will oppose them..aise bhi prerna didnt marry anurag nor.did anurag ever tell them about the child so she is making her own assumptions which is normal..prerna is now the other woman in anurags life as he is married to sona (this anurag only told hrr) so from her pov prerna is only trying to intrude in his life , knowing it's dangerous to his life..I dont believe this, this is acc to the story.

I don't endorse Mohini's thought process, never have, never will. But then, I do understand it. For that matter when she pushed Prerna (to land in Bajaj's arma) post Anurag's accident, I understood that she was a distressed mother afraid of losing her only son and her action then stemmed from holding Pre accountable for Anurag's near-death accident.
However, I have a little reservation @ bold. Had Mohini still been oblivious of Prerna's sacrifice that led her to marry Bajaj, I would have still given her the benefit of doubt for her current actions. But she has seen the video clip and now knows why Prerna had to ditch Anurag at mandap... Of course all the madness that followed and Anurag's self-destructive behavior were the aftermath of Pre's that very action. But that was the only thing Pre could think of doing to save Anurag from death clutch (Of course we could debate what Pre could have done instead of marrying Bajaj, but that is moot now)... Mohini knows that now. So I see no rhyme or reason for Mohini to be holding grudge against Pre for jilting Anu at altar for safeguarding his life....
So, IMO, Mohini initially decided to give Pre a chance after Komolika's revelation. But as Moh never whole-heartedly accepted Prerna, she has found a convenient outlet in Sona and an eternal scapegoat in Pre, where in reality she should have been eternally grateful to her for saving Anurag as well as Basu publication....
