Superb analysis Shreya 👏

Few points which I wish to bring out here.... twice they showed Maya during Rudra and MJ confrontation one when he said duniya darti hogi aapse lekin main nahi darta and second was when he said aap help nahi karte aap sirf fayda lete hain. Both these suggest the reason why Maya is upto this revenge and I believe now that the distorted picture in mayas house is none other than MJ.

But what surprises me is that Maya isn't prepared to deal with her biggest fear MJ when she is out to destroy him and is using his sons against him in this dangerous plan.😲 This doesn't go down well with me or is it simply that she wasn't expecting her encounter with him so soon that's why she panicked.

Other point is that Rudra realises that his father has God complex but he refuses to abide by his rules and has his own identity. He surely is going to be the one who would be the anchor that Maya needs.

The entire sequence from Rudra consoling her to becoming her driver is the foundation of trust between the two. Maya who lost her self control in her weak moments was truly herself when she was with him in the car. ... a human being who has emotions. She believes she is the mastermind here and no-one can have an affect on her but she herself is getting affected by him. Soon we'll be seeing the two getting to know more about each other.

This was what I wanted to add from my side rest I think you've already done that nicely.👏

What an amazing episode. And an incredible analysis.

The way Rudra became a shield in the Nick of time and blocked MJs access to Maya (unintentionally) was a thrill to watch. His words to MJ revealed quite a lot- 'ye madat nahi karte, faida lete hain. Inke aise ek faide ne meri zindagi barbad kar di'. These lines were so telling. MJ really has a dark dark side and Rudra knows about it. He also shamed MJ for "using" Ananya. Another reiteration of what we know.. Rudra respects women👍🏼. I only wish he didn't go to the "throw him out" level. But possibly it was done to show that he too needs an anchor to not lose direction in his anger.

The office hug scene warmed my heart so much. The situation was so telling. Here's the real Maya, broken & battered, hiding in a dark corner, scared and lonely and Rudra reached out to her amidst the chaos and reassured her. I also liked how he hesitated to hug her at first coz she was vulnerable and he knows she doesn't like to be touched. He showed respect. But when she clung to him, he relented and wrapped her completely in his arms. These are great foreshadows for the future.

The parking scene was another great scene. Rudra realized that Maya wanted to be alone and kept trying to stop Ananya from pursuing her but when she hit her car, he intervened. The "zaroorat" scene is such a throwback to the promo.

Bina bataye main tumhari aisi zaroorat banne wali hun, jiski tumhe khud se bhi zyada zaroorat padegi". She may have said these words in a different scenario but they came true today. He told her he needed her & convinced her to let him help her. This will be a great partnership, indeed!! I loved how he kept trying to tease her to get her back to her spunky biatchy self. 😆

The traffic signal scene made me smile so big. I loved that the writers were creative and didn't repeat the "tumhari jodi khush rahe" line. The conversation between MayRa also showed that Rudra too needs some level of growth. But his reaction thereafter to Maya was of genuine respect. I loved it.

I am so excited for the coming week. The precap had so much happening. It's amazing.

I also wish u all a great weekend ❤️

@ Bold: I don't think she expected the encounter to be so soon. She probably had it planned and knew exactly when and how she wanted to appear in front of him. When she felt his presence earlier than she wanted, she panicked. When she was challenging Rudra and he did better than expected, it was the same thing. She hadn't expected that. Maya seems like the type who planned aggressively and minutely because in those instances she can control herself, but when something goes against her will, the real Maya comes out from underneath the facade.

@ Red: That whole showdown was so telling. MJ really does have a God complex and he doesn't like getting told off by anyone. He mustered whatever little resolve he had not to show his anger and walk out with his dignity intact, but Rudra brutally destroyed him with words in front of his entire office. And Ananya was the anchor here, continuously trying to calm Rudra down and to get him to stop.

@ Bold: Interesting point. I just assumed it was because he was surprised with the sudden reaction, but that makes more sense. She had pushed him away when he had "saved" her in the building and made it quite clear that she was not to be touched, so he was just respecting her words.

@ Blue: These words will apply to both of them. Without even realizing it, Rudra will become a need of Maya's, who she'll need even more than herself. Accepting his hand and hugging him in fear are just the first step to this. Then also relenting and letting him drive is the second step or at least half a step.

@ Green: OMG yes! I was half poised, ready to forward the scene because I half-expected the usual hand gesture and "haye haye bhagwan itni khoobsurat jodi salamat rakhe" or something else like that.

@ Purple: No one is perfect and despite all his great characteristics, Rudra has his flaws. But he's one of those people whose good characteristics outweigh his flaws. What I liked here was Maya wasn't actually saying those words just to Rudra, but in general as well. I saw it as a comment at the audience as well: stop discriminating.

I'll only talk about the MJ - Mrs Roy - Antara Scene Coz the MayRa scenes, were awesome but I didn't find major symbolism there. Kudos to your points though! I LOVED the scene between Mom and son. And the way Antara got scared of MJ For a second, as if he's some abuser and he could do something terrible to her and then MJ calmed himself and reached out to her. MJ seems some crazy maniac. And Mrs Roy said exactly what everyone here had been echoing that MJ is too obsessed with his sons for no good reason. Like why is he SO concerned? So what if someone else is the investor? That someone is not actually going to make Rudra more distant than he is now. And I can also see that he's so self righteous he believes whatever he does is right. Clearly something in the past was wrong. Why would Rudra be so angry otherwise? But that doesn't stop him. I LOVED how he told the security, listen to your boss. But the security was quivering. 😆 I LOVE MJ man. He's the boss..

One other thing I just realized is that the on the road, Maya was addressed as "didi" and asked "new driver", like Maya and the transgender have met a few times before.

@ Bold: That made me laugh. Rudra may be the boss, but MJ is the big boss and the one everyone actually is scared of or sees as the boss. 😆

Yes true that. She is kind to those in need. But unforgiving to those who are cruel and dishonest.

Amazing analysis! 👏

I was in awe of Jennifer when she was playing out Maya in trauma, digging her nails into her skin. I wonder why Maya's aide did not warn her about an impending press conference or MJ's possible arrival. Maybe he did not know what MJ was upto.

There was darkness in MJ's eyes when Rudra mentioned about the past in their argument, how his "help" that he didn't want changed his life forever. MJ also displayed his abusive streak very subtly.

You are bang on about the foundation of trust between Rudra and Maya. Maya is unknowingly trusting him more and more while Rudra is getting more and more drawn towards her. Notice how Rudra becomes her driver 'to save his company' after she knocks down those three stands. They might symbolize three pillars of their contract: loyalty, commitment and passion.

I have a feeling that Maya donates her money to that woman at the signal regularly. Or how would she know he is the new driver. It gives a darker turn to Maya's past. God knows what she went through to come to empathize with them.

Great post. The trust thing was beautifully penned down.

I think MJ was peeking & slowing down to get a glimpse of Maya, the unknown faced writer. He understand that Rudra will not let him see her, so he wanted to meet her without Rudra's knowledge.

Rudra is a way too smart. I hadn't thought he'll know about the press conference so soon. MJ was telling that he tried to help him that time, is this the truth? MJ's what type of man can understand when he gave the glare to Antara. He just wants everyone to obey him, when Antara was trying to take Rudra's side, he didn't like that.

Rudra is the gentleman here & flirty too😆 The way he gave her hand & comforted her was brilliant. I also think, he'll ask her but seeing the right time.

I think MJ taunted Mrs Roy about him only, cause if she could directed him in right path then today's situation would've never arised.
