Shukla betrayed Asim again

There have been instances when Asim desired to be the captain of the house.

Firstly, during the sacks and cartons delivery task. Asim wanted to be the captain at that time. But Shukla didn't support him and gave the names of the girls to be the contenders although Asim performed the task really well.(it wasn't shown in the episode, you can watch the unseen video for reference)

Secondly during the rakhshas task,we had seen Shukla openly supporting Vishal for captaincy. He didn't even mention Asim's name for captaincy.

And yesterday,when again there was an opportunity for Shukla to make Asim ,the captain of the house,he again betrayed him and took Vikas Gupta's name. Although Paras suggested Asim's name because Asim did perform well. But Shukla is Shukla,he can't see Asim as a captain.

All in all,Asim was never in the priority list of Shukla although he called him his Bhai, friend etc. etc.

sid and paras had a very good reasoning to not make Asim the captain, as per them Vikas has been on good terms with everyone, well jooth ka nakaab kyun pehna rahe ho, seedhe seedhe bolo na ki Asim se jalte ho.

Can you blame him? Shukla is many things but dumb isn't one of them. He knows Asim becoming Captain will prove how good Asim is at it, cause unlike Himanshi/Shukla Asim is cordial to most of the housemates. So boycott wouldn't work. Not when 2 people who want to boycott were in the SR at that time.

So he chose Vikas. (Which I do feel was Channel's instruction. They've got Gupta in to shake sense into the rest of the housemates. So being the Captain will make that a little easier)

IMO Shukla really does see Asim is his takkar ka and yeah Shukla never wanted Asim to be captain. When they were in the same team, and Asim always did well in tasks, even then Asim was never considered for captaincy and at that time Asim went along as he thought they were playing as a team. Asim realised that Shukla undermines him and must have realised that Sid doesn't want him to be captain.

I suppose this week he thought he had the best shot at being captain with Shukla n Paras being out and hence not influencing other HMs, but poor guy didn't know that they this time they didn't even need to influence any HMs as they were the only ones deciding.

He is jealous of Asim even when they were close i could see shukla always wanted Asim to follow him and not a leader he has always wanted to lead and other to follow dat was so clear

Shukla never felt asim is his competition until asim went against him. Frankly shukla confidence hila kar rak diya asim naa... Sid observed asim game from SR and understood he is not someone who can be sidelined. So he might have decided to supress him.

That's the only reason, Shukla was sent to secret room to see all this.

Some people have said that Asim is insecure of Shukla but it's the other way around. Shukla is insecure of Asim. And it can be clearly seen from him conversations in the secret room. Asim didn't even talk about Shukla but Shukla was again and again bitching about Asim in SR.

People can watch extra dose to see these bitching sessions of Shukla🤢

Yup, they are insecure of Asim. Because I can clearly see Asim is also on good terms with the housemates except 1 or 2
