When I looked at it that way, I realised she is being Krishna in a way. Whether Rudra is Arjun or not is yet to be seen.

Interesting discussion! Loved all points.👏

I will write just add one thing, because others have already articulated everything so well.

@Red: It's true, we can't compare Lord Krishna with anyone, or even the friendship between Arjun-Krishna. But makers are already giving a feel of Rudra being Arjun. Especially in the scene where Maya cites a shloka from Bhagwad Gita to Rudra before the fencing round. Eerily similar to Krishna-Arjun before the commencement of Kurukshetra war. Then there is also a difference, Rudra and Maya were fighting against each other in that scene. So we still need to see how things play out .

Yeah, I understand the general tone of discussions. I still can't see an Arjun like similarity in Rudra. 😆 I am waiting to see a little more. Yeah, here they are pitted against each other.

What I wanted to post was that despite Mayas obvious intentions of taking revenge, I am really impressed in the way she is training Rudra just like Lord Krishna trained Arjun in the Mahabharata. And he is truly turning to be a sincere disciple who takes his lessons to heart.

Let's see the sequence:

Day 1 of challenge: Maya gave Rudra fishes to sell. Rudras first reaction was that he doesn't have the necessary expertise to sell fish. But by the end of the task, he had exceeded Mayas target and thus emerged successful.

Later that night, Maya came to meet Rudra at the fencing class. She knew he was angry (coz of the Fish incident going viral) and gave him another important lesson, anger often blinds our judgment.

Day 2 of challenge: The moment Rudra met Maya at the construction site, he said "kya bechna hai aaj? Eet, cement, patthar? Mujhe bataiye, main kuch bhi bech sakta hun,ye puri building bhi". Here Rudra displayed his confidence having completed his previous task successfully.

During the Day 2, Maya gave him a challenge and he rushed to complete it without thinking thru. Here again, Maya reminded him that often in our desire to win, we forget to ask the rules!

Day 3 of challenge: Lo and behold, the moment Maya mentioned the challenge, Rudras first question was "Rules kya hai?"

Another interesting bit is that during Day 2 of the challenge, Rudra had touched Maya twice. The second time was a bit more forceful and that peeved her. Maya warned him to not touch her without her permission again. We saw Rudra today reminding Rishi of the same.

I am loving this guru-shisya bond that Maya-Rudra have going. It's going to be very interesting to see their dynamics independent of a romantic track.

Would love to know your thoughts!

Exactly my thoughts on Maya's challenge😊 She is teaching Rudra everything he wasn't able to learn with MJ lurking around. Plus she is giving him a hell lot of confidence - ek Banda Jo pichle 3 machine se investors Nahi laa paya, Woh 3 din mein Puri duniya jeet le Raha hai. His confidence on his capabilities and dedication is increasing with every interaction.

Very interesting post . 👏

Like many r saying in the forum Maya is Krishna & Draupadi both in her Mahabharata . Right now she is maybe preparing her warriors . Idk how much role Rishi has as a warrior but Rudra going to be a strong candidate . I think he will stand against his own family specially against MJ for truth . But like Maya said his selflessness will destroy him too . In this war Rudra going to be hurt like hell too . I'm not sure about his death maybe he will die 😢 which I totally don't want maybe not . I don see much of a happy ending of the show 🙄 so whatever happens something tragic ending ka chance high hai .

Exactly.. I was wondering if anyone else felt the same. I felt Maya Rudra as a teacher- student, where the student is being trained for some huge purpose to fulfill..

I am headover heels love with the show and this Arjun krishna thing will be an added advantage to this.

Because keeping maya aside we have a great story even with other charecters. And god rudra he is multilayered and innumerable dimensions.

And i really hope that they don't involve ananya into some romantic interest role.

Rishi can't be ignored too because any tables may turn at anytime.

But currently i am gushing over rudra and maaya ❤️

Wow! What an observation! After reading your post, I realized most of these things...I was not connecting the dots this way, but you are completely right! Maya knowingly or unknowingly is making Rudra stronger and stronger, physically and mentally!

Thanks for the great post!! Made me see all these with a new perspective! Indeed, Rudra learned everything Maya taught, whether it was her intention or not!!

@armu in one promo of bh2 Maya asks if there is no Krishna won't Mahabharata happen. She says it will happen. But unknowingly it's bhagavad vita that's driving her the philosophy of Krishna is her foundation in the battle. And knowingly or unknowingly she is transferrin that philosophy to rudra. Krishna never considered himself superior to arjun.krishna was arjun friend. Arjun is that man who has worshipped God in the form of a friend a equal nar aur narayan it's said. In the war if Krishna was direction arjun was action. In other words if Krishna was flower arjun was fragrance. It's becoz of arjun even today we read Krishna philosophy in the form of bhagavad gita. Just like krishna and arjun needed each other Maya and rudra need each other.Maya is direction rudra is action. They win or lose together

Yeah, so they showed today that Maya's interpreting the Gita to suit her situation and her vengeance. It's not wrong to have one's own interpretations. However, it means she isn't the right person to learn morality from. Coz her sense of moral compass is completely tilted and skewed. I'd mentioned this earlier as well, and this is why I couldn't see Rudra learning from her, what he is though, is learning because of her presence in his life.

She's the Krishna in her own life and she's trying to redeem herself from her past. But Krishna guided Arjun, did not entrap him in deceit and myth. Here Maya is doing just that. And that's why I don't see the Krishna-Arjun parallel here.
