Asim in Shukla's shoes

If Asim has an iota of integrity/conscience then today he would have realized how Sid must have felt when he betrayed Sid. Asim was really hurt with Shefali and the truth slipped out from his mouth that Sid and he had made Shefali's game stronger. I am sorry to say but Karma is a 'Bi* . Sid had made Asim's game stronger but what did he do in return.😡 Sid protected him from Paras in the initial days and became his support. Multiple times Sid had sacrificed his advantage including in the delivery task and protected him but he hurt Sid personally. Shefali ne to phir bhi Asim ko directly koi harm nahi kiya but then too how badly Asim felt pinched. Can imagine how hurt Sid must be with these two, especially Asim.

I agree that Sid is short-tempered but he is a much better person than all of them put together. Sid plays straight and is never a Dogla. I would prefer a friend like him any day than ' chikni chupdi baten karne wall back stabber.' And it is not only for Asim but some others too.

When Sid fans forget and what he himself forgets while giving his bathroom speeches is that he also benefited greatly in the initial weeks by Asim by his side as he needed that unwavering support. I still remember when he chided Asim for going to take a shower because he needed him to back him up in his fight with Paras. He put down Asim at every given opportunity and even while he was by his side he never acknowledged his support and kept saying bhaad mai jao or lets fly solo. In the rakshas task he continued to blame and humiliate him. Their big blow up was over a very silly thing that would have been avoided. Sid wanted the entire house on his side and I remember even went to Himanshi to convince her. Asim talked things out after that weekend but Sid was not interested in recognising his fault in the fights and was more than happy to drop Asim and Aarti like hot cakes for his new toys Paras and Mahira. In his captainship he gave all the advantages to Paras team while he was on speaking terms with Asim. Emotionally blackmailed Asim for night dish washing by having him prove that he loved him just as much as he loved Himanshi. Didn't speak up for Asim in the Paras argument and sent Asim to jail. Compared to his behavior with Asim, Sid is very respectful with Paras and always listens to him. But I do feel Asim and Sid shared a genuine bond while his friendship with Paras is a friendship of convenience from both ends. Sid also benefited greatly from his friendship from Asim so lets not overlook that.

Not self-respect but selfishness and opportunism

Sid is evil to everyone but sana and asim. In my opinion Sid had stood with asim at the beginning and ignored to fight many times with asim and he agreed with him multiple times. Sid has soft sport for asim and protected him many times. But then asim was at limit when everyone was calling him shadow of sid and now he's out of the shadow and standing alone so well done for asim

Sid functions like an authoritarian type of leader in which the power is concentrated with the leader himself and the group just follows the leader's order. Such a thing can actually work well for a small group if followers are submissive which Arti and Asim initially looked like. Asim later turned out to be a head-strong guy who got strength to rebel after wild-cards Himanshi and Shefali Z joined their group.

They have a love-hate bonding stemming out of abondanment. Sid thinks Asim abandoned him for Himanshi-Shefali and Asim thinks Sid abandoned him for Paras-Sana.
