I couldn't think of a way how anyone deals with a family member like Parveen who is not ready to heed to any logical arguments! Being Aman's mother she can't be kicked out of the house also so I made peace with her calling her paagal aurat!

But just becoz one can't reason with her that doesn't mean one support her and that's what I don't like about Aman! I understand he can't persuade her but why he supports her baseless allegations! He is a educated man..he should be able to use his own gray matter to judge a situation! He is a grown man..how can he believe everything his mum says to him!

Anyways, for the time being Jinn Saahab is a breadth of fresh air amidst all these nerve wrecking family drama...

He acts as a great distraction to take my mind off of this hypocritical nawab family!

Parveen is becoming irredeemable in my eyes. She's just an abusive woman who uses her trauma as an excuse to be abusive and this show brought it such a sensitive subject to cover it all. In fact,I'd say the show is actually showing the age old stereotype that anything wrong with your mental health automatically makes you behave like a crazy woman. Its so problematic.

Uski education Jo bhi hain,it was a waste of money. Because he's just literate, not educated. His moral education is also a flop. You know I would understand if he was a teen. Then acting out like that, blaming the other woman makes sense. BUT HES A GROWNASS MAN. He's supposed to be well read. As you grow up you become worldly wise and you unlearn so much stuff. Aman has learnt nothing. He doesn't understand the basic 'equally at fault' concept..at HIS GROWN AGE. Kya faida educated hone ka then.. 🙄 And don't even start about him being Parveen's puppet. Urgh.

Yeah.. even though it was boring to see his scene today.. I liked the quietness of it a lot. Because damn...so much unnecessary screaming for nothing. I like that he minds his business. Got a kid from nowhere too lol 😆 I would like to see him simply chilling at his place. Away from the Khan family Madhouse.

If you really think about the kind of guy he is.. he's not a good guy. He didn't learn anything from the Roshni episode. YJHJK seems like this show where women have to constantly prove to Aman Junaid Khan that they are innocent according to his standards or he will an ungrateful ass and call them names. He never tries to know the other side of things. The fact that he does not blame his dad at all and only blames the other woman has left an extremely bitter taste. Its hard liking or rooting for a ML who thinks like that. His attitude, let me bluntly state it, is very misogynistic. Parveen and Sameer's wife have internalized misogyny too.

I completely agree with everything you said!! It’s actually understandable to me that Aman would blame “the other woman” for stealing his father (not okay, but understandable). Because you know he grew up hearing Parveen saying those words to him over and over again. As an impressionable young child, I’m sure this is deeply embedded in him now - not only that his father was stolen from him, but that only “the other woman” is to blame in such situations. Aman inherited his misogyny from his mother, ironically.

What’s upsetting to me is that Aman learned absolutely NOTHING from what happened with Roshni. Roshni helped him time and again, and despite the evidence of her innate goodness, he was willing to believe everybody else but her. And Aman learned that he was wrong about Roshni. In Tabeezi’s case, she has literally saved Aman and his family over and over again. Yet once again, he would rather listen to his mother than trust his own judgment and the fact that this woman has helped him so much without asking for anything in return.

Gul really seems to have a thing for “the other woman” story. In IPKKND, Arnav was completely shut down emotionally because of his father’s betrayal and his parents’ subsequent deaths. But at least he (if I remember correctly) blamed his father just as much as he did the other woman. In YJHJK, there is little to no accountability for the men who cheat, while the women are insulted and abused even though it’s not their fault. 😡

it’s very hard to see Aman as a character worth Roshni sacrificing her life for, quite honestly. I blame the writing here - the way Aman IMMEDIATELY echoed Parveen when he said “main aap pe vishwaas nahin karta” to Tabeezi was so frustrating and showed zero character development.

Was anyone else wishing that Daadi would slap Parveen when she started going off at Tabeezi? I swear, Daadi is way too lenient on her sometimes. And Parveen acts like a child throwing a tantrum all the time. Mister Chhotu is more mature than her!

Yes ASR blamed his dad more and never cared about the woman until it turned out to be khushi’s mum. Here Aman rotes whatever Mum says and it bothers me a lot and like you said is it worth Roshni’s dying to save him?

I know as a lead it will be him and roshni but I don’t see how they will redeem him? Parveen is gone for me she cannot he redeemed but I am now having serious doubts about aman too.

Dadi is the only semi sane one - Parveen should be muzzled but instead she rants and raves and go crazy. Even jinn spared her what does that say?

Same. I can't ever root for anyone just based on looks. I need the hero building through ethics or the character comes up hollow. Here Aman was projected as such a great guy from the start.. seriously had potential to be the best ML on ITV in a long time! Showed actual feminist tendencies.. completely had my heart. But Gul with her bs ruined this guy too. He had all these good qualities but now has the biggest flaw ever. Any man who is prejudiced against women under any circumstance.. is not a good man. Especially someone who is supposed to be so educated and what not. His behavior towards Tabeezi today was sooo unsettling y'know? Forget everything.. she's actually someone elder to him. He didn't have the basic respect for her from that angle either :/

Ulta Chaar baatein suna kar ghar se bhi nikal deta hai! Bechari Rosh..Aisa shauhar hai toh dushmano ki Kya jaroorat hai ushe! 😭

ASR is sakchhat Lord Rama in comparison to AJK!

I did watch most of IPKKND so I can compare!

ASR never kicked Khushi out of his house...and he used to bring her back every single time she left!

And as you said, he always blames his own father for the adultery and never talked about the other woman!

AJK thinks his father is all innocent in this doosri-aurat fiasco...Dear God, such hypocrisy from ITV ML! smiley3

Vibha, when is the next meteorite scheduled to hit the earth?

I have the same feeling - but Gul has always butchered her characters so this is no different. After the first money throwing episode I reserved my judgement on Aman thinking he will get better. Then in between he did get better and I had hope and then the MU happened and the words he said - I cannot even. No woman whether she is a home breaker or not deserves to be treated that way.

Also apart from Dadi no one wants to be saved either - aman kicked roshni our knowing full well she is the only one who can save him now he is doing it again with Tabeezi. Maybe when roshni dies he will eat crow and go to her?

For me education is shite if you can’t respect other human being. It takes class to treat people with respect and basic decency. Aman for me right now is a man for whom no one should get hurt forget dying. Poor roshni she got a man who will acknowledge his love when she is dead. Then if someone comes and says roshni is this he will go hulk again 🙄🙄🙄🙄
