I love KHKT and all but I don’t understand why people still try to hold this image of the show being ‘different’ from other shows.

Let us first accept that they have made this show overly dramatic. Nowadays almost every scene has dramatic BGM and zooming in. As days pass, people’s definition of drama changes here. First we all were saying that KHKT did not use the zoom effect. Now some are claiming that it is okay since it adds the thrill (then why were these people against it before?) and then we used to say they don’t use echo effects, ab woh bhi ho gaya with that Tapasya scene. Not to forget the dramatic BGs they play.

They are overdoing the drama element for TRP. Harr scene aaj kal dramatic hai. Even if Sona is pushing a cart with food, even that small scene has dramatic BG and shock reactions and all.
Seirouslu Sickand just can’t handle shows properly. He did the same with YHM. Destroyed the very foundation of the show for leaps. At least there it was okay for around 8-10 months. Here toh within 5-6 months he has started his kalakari.

And why are people using shows like Naagin and KZK to prove that this show is better. Why choosing the worst shows? Naagin is a supernatural show, so any illogical thing can be said as creative liberty. KZK should never have been remade because it has a crap story. So why are people even comparing these shows with KHKT?

And saying Ekta shows are bad is stupid. All shows are the same be it from Ekta or Gul or Rajan or Sandiip.

Being a YHM viewer, I know that this show was so realistic for around 8-10 months. After that they began making it dramatic for drama due to change in slot to 7:30 pm and then for bestie love (for Anita) and leap destroyed the show.

Despite all the illogical and cliched tracks YHM has had, it has addressed several social issues.

The first 8 months were the best. The show dealt with infertility, love between a step mother and daughter, how children feel neglected in their own family, molestation of Ishita, fake viral video of Mihika (lovely track which focused on the pain women face when such fake videos are made), marital rape, pampering children too much and covering up their mistakes (Adi’s accident involving Amma), being a good husband and so on.

Even during the dramatic phase, it dealt with issues like rape, good touch-bad touch, drug peddling, hospital coverups, extra marital affairs and the aftermath, forced wedding in villages (Adi Roshni wedding) and so on.

So simply don’t write off Ekta’s shows. Even she makes good content at times. And all shows these days are equally dramatic as Ekta’s shows.

U must be aware that star has put all its shows under scanner and which ever is not able to perform or live upto their expectations would be shut down no matter from what time it is running! In order to sustain the show they need drama..but still admist all this they have not lost the basic essence of the show! That subtleness, reality and good content is still there! No character has lost its basic graph and have had developings on it only! This show is different because it does not shows what every other show does! All the chars have got their heart and brain! All of thrm inc the leads r sometimes right..sometimes wrong! This show is far above all the other showas that r currently airing on itv..that is why it is DIFFERENT!

trust me..all that dramatic effects r added by the channel and all that drama is to gain trps..otherwise they would be pulled off aur by the channel! It would tone down with time! Itne saare pressure mai bhi to show drama they did not brought tracks like accidents of leads, memory loss tracks, seperation drama, leaps, child of the leads, plastic surgeory, misunderstandings between leads, multiple marriages and all that crap in the show..that is why it is DIFFERENT!

Also...to show drama..instead of opening a new dramatic track they picked up a dramatic track that was supossed to come sooner or later! That is why the show is DIFFERENT!

here admist all that drama the leads have not forgotten their love for each other or lost trust on each other! They still manage to steal time for each other! That is why this show is DIFFERENT!

here the fl is no super woman and commits mistakes and male lead is no gadha and uses his brains whenever required! That is why this show is DIFFERENT!

Here neither the ml nor the fl takes up wrong accusations! See today's epi only both of them took stand for sonakshi in front of nishi! That is why this show is DIFFERENT!

Here both the leads crave for each other's intimacy and the fl does not get a mini aasthma attack whrnever her man touches her! That is why this show is DIFFETENT!

i can actually state 1000 more reasons why we call it DIFFETENT but i guess itne bhi bohot honge to proove my point!

Also just because of those effects u can't say yeh show same hai like all others currently airing on itv!

Well, I am a silent reader of the forum mostly. I am IshRaian here, and as the name would suggest I am a big fan of IshRa.

And please don’t say Sonakshi isn’t a superwoman. She does seem like one the way she handles almost all the problems. Sometimes even Rohit looks like he is playing a supporting role. They are trying too hard to make Sona this perfect bahu for TRP.

Visit twitter..there is this account of soumi..everyone calls her spoiler didi..she has been providing news and spoilers from the time sharted! She gives inside news and bts pics too! She has never been prooved wrong..neither has mislead anything! She has sources on sets! She was the one who confirmed about the channel interfering in the show..sona's costumes, storyline and the effects..all has been manupilated by the channel! It will continue uptill jan since after it the shows will be given liberty to show what they want!

And channel does interfere whenever they want! My cousin sister has worked with star plus for a decent amount of time..i confied the fact from her! She was a part of the channel's team when yhm started and continued working there for the next 5 yrs! Waha par bhi when those dramatic effects started na..it was the channel not the ph!

The family would surely bee knowing his blood grp! His mother, aakash and nishi habe known him from his bifth! Plus veena, yk, rohit, rohan and ajit..all of them came in his life before puja! Usko pehle se thodi na pata tha that he is gonna ha e an illegimate child..y would he manipulate the report?

Plus it is not necessary that his blood group has to match pooja's even if he is her father! Plus if he had that rare blood grp then there r fare chances that either one of rohit, rohan or ajit would have got that blood group!

You said channel was adding the special effects which I refuted. I do know that the channel will give ultimatums to PH to increase their TRPs. Generally when the channel does that, producers bring in drama. That has become the norm today.

so yeah, channel might have asked to increase ratings. But the drama and sound effects are all works of the PH only (which they had to do because of channel’s ultimatum)

Anyway, whether channel is adding it (which is not true) or PH is doing it, ultimately it is the show which is being ruined. You can’t discount all this just because it was because of channel pressure. All that matters is what they show in the show and they are showing over dramatic stuff these days is the fact.

It is high time that they tone down the drama quotient.

Ektas shows cant be written off, kzk 2 is an exception , but I do believe she is a very talented person..I love her web series , 2 or 3 which I have seen...

The point is comparison is a waste..why compare any two entities ? Each has their own plus and minuses..

Khkt sometimes takes the normal drama route but it's still very decent , in terms of story telling , characterizations and pace ...a daily soap will have ups and downs,some moments maybe good some bad..imo sona ki shadi ka drama was abs useless , the stalker track and raima ...after that it has picked up a little...rohit supporting sona and standing by her like a rock against his family is something that everyone will appreciate..sona is not the perfect bahu, although she tries to do the right thing always...i dont support her going all the way for pooja s adoption news..the way she is handling it all..still it makes for a good debate ,its logical ...this is somewhat similar to naira and kartik..naira is also sketched the same way...n audience always had a problem with it ..

So yeah there is a room for improvement but for a daily soap it's good enuf..the shows at the top dont offer anything better anyways

I never said that this show does not have drama but this show is different because it has always shown that drama in a subtle and decent way as comoared to all the other itv shows!

Yess..i agree that they should tone it down a bit but right now they won't even dare go against the channel,otherwise they would be shown the doors!
