Movies out of box

Shuddhi ( deals with juvenile laws of india )

Urvi

care of kancharapalem - I don't think I have seen more realistic movie everything in this movie is good be it casting, storywriting just perfect.

Vikram Vedha - Bollywood could never dare, if it dares it would never match this. Simply awesome triller and actors are amazing.

96 - a good romatic movie about school love.

Fidaa - well fidaa stood out for me because of the female lead's character and sai Pallavi's acting. Rarely in romatic movies we see a female lead's character having individuality and realistic flaws.

Arundhanti - literally awesome fanasty movie. I don't know if it is out of box or not but it is worth watching.

Tv shows

Rishta. Com - I don't know why is not hyped. It is written way ahead of time. The content which today's sass bahu audience will never relate.

Dahleez - well the only thing wrong in his series was first sight love but this series is worth watching.

Pow - a well written series which did not get its due.

Everest

Ek hasina thi

Yeh pyaar nahi toh kya hai

I guess this is it which reminded out of box still end.

Special mention

Yeh un dino ki baatein ( the first 100-150 episodes ) - the show was something else, a stress buster and had everything at one time. The redemption track of main lead was well written. The falling of love phase and layered characters it was perfect. I don't think I can ever get over the starting episodes. I still remmond people to watch the initial episodes.

Haq se - deals with Kashmir issues in a good way.

Kota factory - I would pay money to watch this content it is that good. It is freely available in you tube.

Tripling season one - highly recommended. Super good and ending is perfect because it is realistic. I love how the ending was not kept happily ever after.

So, there's this stand up by Neville Shah on either netflix or prime called Going Downhill. It has a dark mood and I really enjoyed that. Can try that too.

Moon, have you watched Dark Places ( a movie starring Charlize Theron) Sharp Objects (mini series starring Amy Adams)? Must watch if you liked Gone Girl. They are adaptations of novel written by Gillian Flynn who wrote Gone Girl..

Jessica Jones and Good Girls are binge-worthy shows on Netflix. I have seen all the seasons.

Yeah I did.

Sharp Objects was SO good I had to skim over the book again and the REWATCH some of the series all over... lol.

Absolutely love Amy Adams.

Not sure about Dark places- will check it out, thanks !!!

I've tried jessica Jones but it's a bit too 'MCU' if you get my meaning ( Trust me.. not for nothing I started looking into world cinema and Bollywood. I got sick and tired of series being samey samey.. or all of these MCU series... It gets repetitive.. all vam, pires all werewolves..)

I just watched : SANTA CLARITA DIET : Drew Barrymore is hilarious in it. a bit of gore but not TOO much.. it';s a cracking ride- 2 seasons watched in a binge.

** again thanks for all the suggestions🤗

Thank you, everyone🤗 ( this topic is bookmarked and I'm making my way through suggestions as and when I can )

No wonder Akshaye not interested in Bollywood. Aamir khan is a very selfish actor and a fake friend....
