There is a famous saying-Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned.If earlier Maya was the principal Antagonist then now she's the one seeking her revenge as the ultimate Protagonist in Season 2.I will do the comparison part between the two Maya's later but here it seems that more and more that MJ is being shown as the past love-interest of Maya in Beyhadh 2.Some have given her age as 40 in the other topic of this forum.

Anyway it seems that MJ must be her past lover as there is a tagline going around -"When the man whom she loves betrays her, Maya seeks to destroy him by wooing the only person he truly cares for- his son." And this storyline/plot laced with the theme of revenge confirms this fact.However if MJ was her past love and Maya's age is 40 then MJ must be at least around 60 with his 2 sons-Rudra & his younger brother Rishi currently a Maya-Fan in their 20's.

Earlier there was a you tube video and there have been several reports hinting at the pairing of Maya & Rudra that is Maya would be Rudra's love interest.Indeed this is pushing the envelope then.I mean its kinda weird that either Rudra will fall for Maya or Maya would eventually find solace in Rudra on the way.Now such mature love stories have been portrayed earlier coincidentally all the 3 serials have been played on the rival channel ZEE TV- Astitva where Simran married a guy 10 years younger than her/Aapke Aa Jane Se where a 27 year old Rich Guy named Sid falls for 42 tear old Vedika or the current one Akshan-Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega where a 21 year old Guddan married a much older man Akshat Jindal.

However none of them showed an FL/ML marrying their love interest who was the son of their former love interest.Its not that the jodi of Maya-Rudra cannot look good.They would have their own romantic moments & Incredible chemistry but the catch here is then MJ would be the Father-In-Law of his lover Maya which sounds kinda weird.Considering that this is an Indian serial Maya's gonna marry either Rishi or Rudra at some point in the subsequent episodes in the near future.So if MJ is the past lover I wonder how the CV's gonna address this issue?

Getting back to the 2 Mayas the earlier Maya was a calculated & cold megalomaniac who had the levers of power in her hand always whether it concerned her lover Arjun or her mother & her love rival Saanjh.But this time the game is reversed.Now MJ is the aggressor with Maya being the scorned one.The earlier Maya was a more ruthless & savvy character but this Maya has left herself quite open I am sorry to say this.I watched the episode today where on fake date with Rishi she could not stop herself from expressing her own hidden emotions quite possibly her love betrayal.The earlier Maya would have avoided showing such glaring weakness.Its too early to find faults in Maya's character but I am liking the earlier Maya a bit more the current one.Others might give their own take.

The old Maya planned every move carefully albeit with backup plans but the current one though on the right track has left herself open on all sides.MJ is no fool & if his machinations are anything to go by he can put down Maya at any time MJ has all the power & luxury at his disposal like the earlier Maya used to have.Whether its Durga of EHT or the earlier Jhanvi/Pooja of Sarvagunn Sampanna both played their games keeping their real face hidden behind the layer of shadows but Maya is going straightaway headlong without even assuming a fake identity or a new character altogether.I know that Maya Jaysingh cannot go back to being the old Maya of Beyhadh since the focus is entirely on the story now while the old Beyhadh was all about Maya Malhotra but Maya needs to bring the back the old Maya against the cunning old MJ to deal with him.

Yes I agree completely but behad is all about breaking stereotype about marraige I am deadly hoping no Maya Rudra marraige .please why every storey y FL has to marry who Rishi will be killed by Maya it is almost confirmed coz both shivin and Asish are leads

And Rudra is 30 and Mj is 50 Maya is around 40 yes this Maya is more human than the previous one ...all I can say that to errr is human . ..this maya is vulnerable unlike pre ious one this Maya was a simple girl in past who get bwtrayel in a very ruthless way ..where as Mata in previous season was tormented child since childhood vast difference !!
