Panipat, the reviews are exceptionally good, doesn't seem like all are paid. A large scale well-made movie should do better than a normal comedy movie.

Both are getting good reviews, but PPAW is actually getting extra brownie points as the marketing has been good and it is a sure shot hit. The audience/trade enjoys these type of films more.

Panipat's fate is in the hands of multiplex audience, Mumbai, Pune and other parts of Maharashtra. The 2 hr 50 mins running time doesn't help. Many are saying that it could have been trimmed by 15 mins. Ashutosh has made some gems that have bombed badly like Swades and that Surya Sen/Chittagong raid movie. Only Lagaan and Jodha Akbar worked at box office.

If he hadn't delivered the dud I.e. Mohenjodaro, I believe Hrithik would have been the lead in Panipat. They had a faling out after that fiasco. Honestly, both are to be blamed for that. But imagine if Hrithik was in this. Things would be much much different. Easily 200+ grosser coming after Super30 and War.

I think this is also a rare case where Bollywood is supporting both movies. There hasn’t been any type of mud slinging like in past clashes.

Sadly, neither deserves to 'win' anything.

But PPAW probably will.

PPAW will probably win. Overall its stars and promotions seem to get more media attention and social media hype. It just feels like Bollywood is rooting more for this one though I agree that there hasn’t been any mud slinging and negativity from either side or a third party.

The right casting would have been Sanjay in PPAW. Superhit .

even if they are well made, they don't "deserve" to "win"?
