Why is no one talking about how Maya manipulated Rishi in his college by maing him beleive that she is stalking him! That scene was freaking amazing! Also in the cafe Rishi was like I am scoring her like anything and Maya could see through his lies yet behave as if she was being touched by his words!

Well, I didn't watch season one. I watched her in SC then BP. But I heard this dialogue, in spite of the similarity their meanings are completely different.

I started watching SC only becuase it was inspired from a book (i didn't read it, but seemed damn intense) then it went all berserk and I stopped watching😆

He used his words like a trap, just like his father. Maya could see through his each facade, his each dialogue, they seemed made up and Maya had to give me that, he was amazing with words.
If it had been any other, she would have fallen in love with the very moment, but not Maya, for she had learnt it the hard way that words are just a game, they lie and tie you down, making you weak.
She had heard each of his promise earlier, many men used the same promises to woo women, even if they were different words in each case.
Only if women could see through lies, they would have been less heart breaks(As an author I am not suggesting that all men are dogs, this is just through Maya's POV)
She wanted to punish Rishi for each lie, punish him for his father's each lie.
