Whoa!

I have yet to see the episode, but I just made a thread on these trends on Twitter n saying I don't know who's at fault, but the trends tend to give false picture, and after reading your post TM, seems I was bang on.

Gosh it's pathetic to see how extreme people go to defend the indefensible, totally losing their sense of right and wrong.

Totally agree with you dear. I am shocked too at the biased nature of Bigg Boss to entertain this Bull Shukla who is manhandling everyone at the show and has absolutely no respect how he speaks with women. It was very clear in yesterdays episode that Shuklas ego was hit when Asim got the bag and he just could not take it so he went and pushed him real hard. Asim is too kind for not complaining to Bigg Boss. If it was Mahira or Paras or any other contestant they would have put their mic down and told Bigg Boss to take a stand against this violence. Why are the makers of Bigg Boss promoting violence and supporting Shukla. This is how criminals are born in this society because we nurture them and glorify them. Disgusting !!!

After watching today's episode, I was naively thinking okay NOW there is nothing left to prove. Asim was just grabbing a bag as per the task, Shukla was pressing him against the shelves, Asim shouted at him in anger, Shukla pushed him violently multiple times completely unprovoked. There are no arguments now. Instigation etc (which was always a pathetic excuse to begin with) was used as a loophole, but this time around there is no scope for even that. How wrong I was.

As soon as I opened Twitter I was inundated with anti-Asim tweets.

Vindu Singh is tweeting that Asim is a hate monger (??)

Manu Punjabi is repeatedly comparing Siddharth to Kabir Singh (In a GLORIFYING way 🤢), he actually said "How can we be upset with a man whose personality type-based movie we made a hit with over 200 crores"

People on Twitter are using horrible racist and Islamophobic language to attack Asim.

WHAT THE F**K IS GOING ON?

Is this real life? Are we dreaming here? Is this the state of no-conditions hero worship in our society? Is this what we allow in the name of good looks? Of TV stardom? Or success? Of praises and appreciation from a movie star? Is this the result of an entire continent of bad parenting? Bad role models? Is this because of the Bachchan movies we all grew up watching?

I am genuinely shocked here. If people can defend this shit, then honestly, its best to stop watching the show. Watch it in groups, or via an untraceable way if you must, but this NEEDS to be cut off and not supported directly. We have to do better than this. These people are (fully knowingly) exploiting a man's deep mental issue of having no control over his violent streak, in the name of an entertainment reality show, for profits and ratings. And people are not only falling for it, but happily changing their own morality to allow for this to be normalized. We are fu*ked as a society.

Same goes to u, jab pata hai ke u are going to be biased, then why even bother to write nonsense..Are u comparing, mahira strength to Asim's..In task they can get hurt but deliberately pushing with intent of harming and top of that mocking, abusing ....Heights of .....

toh for example agar koi pati apni patni ko peetta ho domestic violence karta ho toh its the girls fault right. Kyoki ladke ko toh gussa jaldi aata he uske toh nature me hi peetna he... galti toh dusre me he joh uske nature se adjust nahi karte.

Don’t you think its the CULPRIT who should be expected to change rather than the victims and people around him.

when clearly visible wat sidharth shukla is doing, being a human can you support it? what's in those blind love for any celeb that turns into you a monster too?

every year blindness happens, but this type of Violence never happened, if happened to a little extent bb sent him or her outside.but this time every limit crossed and i am more over shocked, upset to see his supporters blindly supporting this mentally sick person!!

i believe criticism makes friend more better person, like this if u can criticise your fav star too, it will make him understand his flaws and also will make you better person.

Muslim thing is really very sad. Jis show ka host beloved salman KHAN ho us desh me bhi log aisa soch sakte he.

I have also heard people say that Asim’s fandom is mostly from middle eastern countries like Dubai and not India and that’s where he is getting most of his support from.

What Salman said then made no sense then and neither does it now.

Anyway Asim didn’t go to Shukla today, definitely not the 2nd time. Maybe at the headbutt push time Asim went to say something, but before the 2nd and 3rd push Asim was standing at a very safe distance from Sid.

You can’t excuse sids violence by things like these. Also words of Salman aren’t the words of gospel.

So if somebody might bully you, you should just run away and not face them for the fear you might anger them and they might bully you. This line only works when the favourism is at its peak.

This line works when people sleeping on the pavements are blamed more for sleeping there then someone is for drunk driving. Yes you might even win the case, because money and power matters. Doesn’t make it right.

This line of argument works only for the mighty and powerful which Shukla clearly is on the show!

You make a lot of sense, and I cannot agree more - but, defending the indefensible is not a new concept when it comes to contestants of this show. It’s happened before plenty - so it doesn’t much faze me anymore. Surprises me - but doesn’t shock.

While I cannot fathom the support for someone as nasty as Shukla - people are free to support who they please. It’s when behavior and actions like these are unconditionally whitewashed and defended that I too wonder what the hell is wrong with people. It is beyond obvious that the man has maha issues - violence is his go to - not just josh mein, but hosh mein too, given he’s happy to casually threaten with it in a verbal volley. And that particular nasty facet is hardly the only such of his personality.

In any case - it’s violence ffs - it’s not defensible, which is why all this is so absurd. But hey - main kya jaanu fangiri ki takkat? I wouldn’t countenance 1% of this man’s behaviour or personality in my own life, toh discount dene ka sawaal hi nahi uththa. And mujhe yeh fangiri ke rules bhi samajh nahi aate - where does it say in the book of loyal fans that one must support and defend everything under the sun? 🤔

Baaki sab aside, violence is non-negotiable outside the house - aise logon ko gunda kaha jaata hain - but banda TV screen pe zabardasti ka hero banjata hain. Absurd. And Twitter is just vile when it comes to BB anyway.

Islamophobic slurs have been there since the day Asim went against Shukla. I mean these people just expose themselves. And PRs use that against Asim coz that resonates with many many people and you know why. Many who don't have any reason to hate Asim will prolly jump to the bandwagon of Asim hate as the narrative is : how dare a minority try to win against a cornered majority. Quite a clever trick from Shukla PR if you ask me.

This show needs to be banned. Period. Its such a shame that ITV just keeps getting more n more regressive and moves backward. Everyone knows that this fight was purposely done. All these fights in this current season look so fake. Yeh log zabardasti ka issue banaate hai just to create drama. And the extent to which fans lap it up and make it seem like their whole life depends upon defending their favourite contestant, is just sad. These fans and moreover the celebrities who tweet for this show which does nothing but incite violence and promote negativity and waste ppl's time, need to do something productive in life.
