Good discussion. I feel like the group of people who are against this and the group that are for this are staying the same no matter how worse it's getting. The main issue is the TV and Media. They are just out for money. There are no moral or ethical rules to follow. They just make sure they are within the legal boundaries and the rest they don't care. I guess that's how they make money. BB team is well aware of what they are doing and enabling. Social media is a platform to express and you see all kinds of opinions.
Only contestants on the show can protest for allowing this. If their contract says no physical violence is allowed then they should speak up on it. Yeah they might get rid of that contestant but when it happens again and again, BB team might start taking it seriously and draw some boundaries. This season none of the other contestants seem to voice their opinion. Such strong headed people yet they are all speaking only when it's on them. Bhau, Vishal, Rashmi and everyone should have questioned BB. They have been beaten down to the point that no one questions Shukla's behavior or BB's stance towards him.
Regardless of all this, I agree to what you are saying. Why are we accepting something that is wrong? BB is an entertainment show but it's a reality show, right? Why are we to a point that we are discussing ethical and moral rights? The show is testing people's acceptance of how far they can take it. It's only going to get worse and worse.

That is exactly what I did. Not watching it anymore and only come here to read the forums and I am happy that I did make the right decision of not watching the stupid biased show!
same here lost interest way back...only read here..if anything worth watching then go back to the episode..
He does have an aggression issue. I like him but he needs to stop pushing Asim around, it makes him look like a brainless monster.

No on the contrary I think having this show is a good thing. It gives you an idea as to HOW toxic people's mentalities are. Im sure the same people who send these tweets...act saintly and peaceful in real life. Society is just sick. If millions of people tweet in favour of Shukla..an abusive rude arrogant c#nt..then there is something terribly wrong with society..even if Bb viewers arent a huge demographic. Hundred people supporting him I can understand. But thousands? Thousands or lakhs or whatever number of people who blindly support such behaviour is just ...I was gonna say shocking..out of habit.. but Im not shocked.
Exactly! How can someone support this gunda called Sidharth Shukla is beyond me. He does not even try to show a little humanity. Its really a sad state of affairs. How do ppl like so much negativity on screen. Season 11 was also a hit season but the contestants did not behave like rabid dogs barking at each other constantly. This season is all about who fights the most. Their idea of entertainment is make issues out of nothing, show aggression by becoming abusive and violent. Its sick that BB promotes such problematic behaviour. If not for partiality by the makers Shukla wouldn't get anywhere in this show or in life. I watched an episode on monday and his negativity was honestly depressing and irritating.
Read through all the posts.
Honestly, I don't follow BB on social media because I know how those mediums get on things like this. If one follows any one controversial topic on Twitter, Facebook or YouTube or Instagram, one can see the level people can stoop down to defend their point.
It becomes a complete warzone with no restrictions.
So, it's not surprising that this kind of posts against Asim is being made. He is one of the strong and honest contestants there in my opinion.
That being said, this was the first time I am watching this show and I am appalled at the level of negativity that is supported and endorsed here.
I don't know if the previous seasons were similar, but I am already losing interest. There is only so much I can take of Shukla and his antics and BB's glossing over them.
One of the best posts I’ve come across! If there are any non Sana and Sid fans please DM me so that I can follow you guys on twitter !!
