See, the reason I didn’t want to write more here as to how my head runs on this was coz I can be completely wrong on this and it can come bite like never. But then, I will not hang out here at all if there’s no Sidnaaz- end of season for me. For me the season was Sidnaaz and not as fantasy. I enjoyed putting the dots together and trusted that and added some dots that other members threw in. I rarely micro analysed here coz I have always felt ki it takes away from my personal viewing experience. So anyway, since I don’t plan to be here if Sidnaaz won’t happen, I thought I might as well spill my thoughts here and then vanish as we all do at the end of every season.

1. Aarti is smiling when she is saying She confessed ya whatever that was. Given the last episode’s context, Aarti has been an unintentional Cupid. She said that Sana has been given an absolute place by Sid. She has mentioned the Kabir Singh- Preethi thing too. She is a shipper as much as she likes Sid too. So, for her it is like dekho Mera theory right ho gaya smile. I think that is what it is. There is a lot of confidence in how she says it. If it is her I now got Sid wala smile, god bless her! 😆Sana also has a microsecond wala smile when Aarti says that between her tears. I think the Aarti Sana bonding at this point cannot be for Paras. It’s a human reach out.

2. Asim is with Sana. I have always felt that Asim loves fighting with Sid to drive his personal footage agenda forward. That there is no real hate hate. I used to like Asim until I felt he was driving Sid insane for personal benefit, and not out of hate. Unseens don’t evidence 24/7 anger. Anyway, Asim’s proximity to Sana reminded me of the earliest Unseen days. I don’t feel that Sana would tell Asim as candidly if she was in love with Paras. Again, Asim’s smiling as we can see from the behind wala shot. Remember the Party dance and territorial glass jealousy moment from Sid and Asim’s smile at Sid? Like gotcha bro...? Sort of felt like that angle and his body language mujhe.

3. Rashmi Shefali the other day. Their gossip cannot be so way off the mark is what I feel. Rashmi said Sid hi game hai use meaning it was to Sana in fact that the game began and ended with Sid. I wrote as much here.

4. Paras’ hug as far as I can decipher is not an acknowledgement or love confession wala hug. His chin is tilted upwards scanning others. He is not well into that hug. It’s a Vishal kind of consolatory hug. Not a romantic one I feel. Also, I had been happy for Paras when I saw his task promo- he was doing good and something different from others, standing out. Will he really be eliminated? And will Sana cry for that soch soch ke as she did in the Asim moment? Sana can cry easily, but she has been happy of late. Paras and she have not be extra close at all these days going by Episode and Unseens. Sid was. Both were orbiting each other. Sana confess and cry for Paras given the context? I do not think so.

5. The swimming pool wala task moment on WKV. Sid came to drop Sana at the pool, which was edited in the main episode. He was perplexed and the cute bhadki hui statement happened. Wasn’t that totally a bf wala thing? When he first said No, so that her dress wouldn’t get wet, she went sherni mode for a second saying tu faltu... ya aise kuch. Like, shut up, I know you like me more. She went verbally territorial in front of Salman as I see it and blushed, apologized and shut up when it was corrected. When hasn’t she whenever Aarti was around? Was Sana acting all of that? Then she must be more than a first class actress... hehe. I have always felt she is as raw as raw gets on a reality show. Dekhte hai.

5. The last episode and territorial Sid- no guy goes territorial aise in front of others if he is another’s love interest. And Paras has never shown any romantic inclination in Sana and Sana’s body language when with Paras lacks intimacy altogether. I have mentioned that here. Tough to engineer moments of body language, but if the editors have been able to micro manage body language to that extent, kudos to them!

6. Sana mentioned among her besties in that Unseen on the Sidnaaz video shoot that she wished Sid had touched her more intimately for a shot. Would she seriously say that in front of the guy she loved, assuming that was Paras? To make him jealous of Sid? I don’t think so.

7. Sana has repeatedly said Sid is the only person who gives her attention. She always felt Sid was beyond her, maane milega nahi. Toh itna hi sahi sort of thing was what she felt. The fact that she referred to Sid as husband in the washroom sequence and the cute wrist moment... her expression there was unique.

8. Devolina has also mentioned that Sana gets attention only from Sid. Asim has complained that Sid is always with Sana- it strikes me as a very common complaint from all loved ones when Cupid strikes that they spend a lot of initial time with one another. Natural foundational elements hai.

Aise bohot hai to make me feel that inspite of Sana’s Paras jaap, Paras is a friend and a cheerleader alone for Sidnaaz and nothing more. And Sana is only for Sid and vice versa. Some of my cards are out here on the table and I have many more, but it may all go in vain with the episode and I will have to smoothly bid my farewell here and so, I shall stop short for now. Also, I also have a couple of reasons for why it could be Paras, but well, it is far outnumbered by the Sid hypothesis and by a long draw.

Sana is even more complex than Sid, and her expressions change by the second and she herself is physically all over the place, so I won’t judge myself if I fail at this plus the huge chunk of editorial interference can topple any understanding coz there is no consistency of vision unlike in real life. We have to judge by microseconds worth of shots. Yet, the show is successful if it can get us to analyse as much and that to me has been my biggest gain here every year- to be able to mind play with oneself each second. Baaki sab is cherry on the top.

Uff 😘 I agree with all your points and yes Sana is more intimate with Sid and not with Paras at all, but still why is she crying so badly?

I am glad my writing is inspiring. Ofcourse Sidnaaz is the common muse of this entire thread.

Agree about the wazir moment... haha! Phir bhi bohot saare haina...too many- the Aarti Shehnaz unseen from last week (?) for example, where she asks Sana what it is that she doesn’t like about Sid and Sana says aggression. Now who would ain vyi ask a girl about something like that? When a girl’s in love, then you ask her what you like and don’t like about a guy. And Sana adds just so that her statement is not misconstrued, usko bhi pata hai. As in, he is also aware that that is what I dislike about him. That’s a Sidnaaz conversation we have not been privy too, lekin we have been given clues all along. It’s a very sorted statement from her. Aisa mera manna hai and I still say I could be wrong and had been grossly misjudging everything and simply coz the Paras chip was thrown in quite too often. Now were those close to throw us into the track or off the track? 😆 Whatever the outcome, I would call it strategic first class creative and editorial competence.

This show is like playing chess with oneself- either you win with yourself or you lose with yourself😆

Anyway, at this moment, I’d like to hold my horses. The only reason I wrote my long post earlier was coz I did not want to seem like mei ain vyi tukke maar rahi thi 🙂

By the way, saw some random visitor souls ghosting around these parts. Bechaare- never knew this thread was such a magnet for venting ghostly frustration 😆
