Himanshi's role in the show and the effect of her eviction

So, I was thinking about Himanshi today after seeing that most people agree on social media that she'll be the one to go this week (if Bigg Boss actually respects the nominations process for once). And I sorta realized something - She is actually a weirdly powerful person in the house. In her own way, she is a big nucleus for 'soft power,' and her (possible) departure can screw some shit up for sure. For Asim supporters (like myself 😆), its really important for her to stick around for a while. Don't get me wrong, I don't think she's winning the show lol, or even anywhere near top 5 material. But here are some assorted observations to try and argue for why she's an important piece of puzzle, and why her group can't afford to lose her at this point:

1. Soft Power

In the real world, politics is ALL ABOUT soft power i.e. skills of persuasion, diplomacy, and personality signaling. In BB, because of the mix of alpha-personalities, plus the incredibly stressful situations that are put forward by tasks and nomination/captaincy processes, soft power is generally overlooked. But Himanshi is really good at saying the right thing at the right time. When Bhau told her he doesn't like Asim's close proximity with her, the logical thing to do would be to say either "okay, got it" & tell Asim to back off, or to say "screw you, its my life!" type shit to Bhau. But instead, she told Bhau exactly what he needed to hear to feel powerful in their bhai/behen relationship, and yet she continued on. This is typically what is called being 'fake' but like it or not, its a really important and beneficial skill. When she tried to make up with Shukla, she was again telling him exactly what he needed to hear. Problem is - Shukla is a no-nonsense guy, and just went to Devo for clarification immediately. So, in this exchange, Shukla won. BUT, not everybody is like Shukla (in fact probably 90%+ people in the world wouldn't ever be so direct). So, even if she lost that exchange, its an indication that she's really good at twisting words, being diplomatic. Also her classy/elegant demeanor, good looks, and calm/composed tone in speaking really helps her in this issue, as people are naturally drawn to subconsciously view these types of people as 'bholee' and 'sweet.'

2. Asim's Source of Confidence

Sana, Paras, and Mahira are hellbent on breaking Asim's confidence. Everything he says or does, they try to make fun of him and make him feel like a loser. When he tries to play the political game, they make fun of this abilities by saying things like arreh yeh bhee plotting kar raha hai? Lagta hai he's rapping, etc. When he tries to play the physical game, obviously thanks to the ridiculous WKV where pushes were established as being just as bad as provocation, they can always rely on the instigator tag. In this situation, Himanshi gives him so much bhav. Maybe she's sorta into him (but doesn't wanna cheat on her finacee), maybe she just likes the attention, or maybe its for the game. Joh bhee ho. She gives him bhav and when everyone is trying to kill your confidence, it must be self-assuring to have a pretty girl who you find attractive think of you as a good friend. Eg - the Paras/Asim thing could be a terribly demoralizing thing that someone would get affected by. Asim seemed strong enough to handle it for sure, but even if a SMALL part of him felt demotivated because of Paras's demeaning words, when Himanshi (a girl he's into!) came up and told him "kapde se personality nahee banti, personality se kapde achhe lagte hai" that must have been such a boost of confidence! I would have been doing backflips in my head if I was him in that case lol

3. Asim's (Genuinely) Well-wishing Advisor

Asim has a habit of blowing things way out of proportion. Sometimes it really works for him. Eg - when Paras said those ghatiya things to him about aukat, he could have just said two words and walked away in anger. But Asim chose to sit there, grill him nonstop, and even talk to Sana who was right there and bring up the kapde thing, immediately forming a connection with something Sana was hurt by, and making Paras look even more wrong. Then, he stayed long enough to deliver a common man speech that 70's Amitabh Bachchan would have been proud of! 😆 This obviously worked for him, because whether Salman/BB want to admit it or not, it skyrocketed his popularity. But this was a rare case. Most of the times, he blows things out of proportion that don't need to be. Example - the chaye patti thing from yesterday, or the doodh thing from today. With Himanshi there to quickly bring him back to earth and remind him which battles are worth fighting for, Asim backed away after the doodh thing and (at least in my opinion), Rashmi looked like the petty one. Don't get me wrong, Sid is CLEARLY the most petty one. But between Rash and Asim - Asim just said bro you should have punished those two not the rest of us, which is a very valid rational point. Then, the personal mudslinging part he left Rashmi handle. This really keeps Asim from getting into things that are detrimental to his image. And whether she really considers him a good friend or is just giving him bhav for footage, one thing is clear - she sticks to him, and tells him what/how/when he should act! Plus, Asim doesn't seem to mind getting this gyaan, so its a big plus for him.

4. The Glue that holds Asim-Shefali-Bhau together

The house is full of emotionally immature people, partly due to the fact that the situation they are in is so stressful/unnatural, and partly because the show has deliberately chosen contestants knowing that they have a history of aggressive/controversial behavior as per the format of the show. In this situation, Himanshi has proven to be highly emotionally intelligent. She knows how people are feeling, and can empathize with their thought process to know how to approach them in their headspace. When Asim and Sid were fighting, Himanshi had just pushed Sana, and Shefali was trying to figure out how to handle the sanchalak thing for the captaincy, in the chaos Asim was going crazy shouting at Shefali to make Himanshi captain in the heat of the moment. At this time, Himanshi turned to Asim and very angrily shouted "Shut up Asim!" multiple times. This was exactly what he needed to hear. Then, when Asim and Shefali were upset with each other after the luxury budget task thing, she went to Asim and calmly, yet sternly told him to go and apologize to Shefali. When he finally did after getting over his stubbornness, she gave them both a tight hug and was extra sweet to them, making them BOTH feel better! When Bhau was mad at Asim for not doing the jhaadu when he was sick (and he was genuinely pissed off!), Himanshi very sweetly explained to Bhau about the misunderstanding while Asim was right there, so that it was clear that she is doing the talking, yet they are both there to hear each side. Now, if you want to be negative - this is called manipulation. If you want to be positive - this is called emotional intelligence (high EQ). And this skill is the reason Asim-Shefali-Bhau are close today. Now that they are getting closer with Rashmi (and by default, Arhaan 😆), its important to have someone like Himanshi around keeping things from going too far within the group.

Obviously, I like both Asim and Rashmi, so the whole analysis is super biased since I'm highlighting the importance of Himanshi for their game, and not the OVERALL game. But still, I think she has an important role to play. Initially, I thought Aarti would be this person (glue holding together Sid-Asim-Sana-Aarti), but we all know how that went! 🤣

Agree, at this point of game, Himanshi should stay. If by chance, she leaves, then Asim will become “The Punisher” for sid group 🤣😁.

Oh, and I forgot the obvious fifth point (from Asim's fan biased POV),

5. Footage!

Fake or not, Asim flirts with her and she totally welcomes the attention. So, Asim is getting screentime yehi chakkar mein 😆

The more I think about it, the more I don't want her to leave for Asim's sake. lol

Someone like Himanshi gets this long a post, who would have thought?! This should be a reason enough for her to stay! 🤣

Well I do like her and her subtle progress (-Turtle in the race fosho except there wasn't a manipulative BB Shukli in that race to make the turtle lose 😆) ... So her chances of staying look slim if voting lines are open .. Tho I would be on cloud nine if she survives and Paras happens to leave ...🥳

I like her! Always have ever since she came and I don't think I've changed my opinion too much.

She analyses situations well and is a good judge of character. The soft power bit is true to a certain extent, I mean she has to do something to stay in the game, but at least it's well within limit. She uses it for the better of her friends too like she solved that argument between Asim-Shefali.

I live in the US so I'm not sure how Voot works.

Voting lines are still closed, kya? Are they usually opened right after nomination task is aired, or least by now? Scene kya hai?

Thanks in advance! :)

NO! Himanshi needs to GET OUT like right now.

This freeloader came to BB for free ka fame & muft ki roti todne .. ZERO contribution. The reason she was brought on the show (Sana rivalry), she failed to even milk that. Its offensive that muft khor furniture Himanshi is still on the show! I can't stand freeloaders on BB. BB me aaye ho to kuch karo.. warna DAFA HO JAO!

But sometimes I kind of feel sad for myself that I take a show like BB so seriously to come talk about it on this forum. Lol.

IF voting counts she will never go.. because she has good fans who will support and will good votes.. But as far i notice BB wants to get her evicted.. for the simple reason she cant act or be worst like few others contestants just to be in the game... She is practical.. always gives the right suggestion and well balanced.. and that is not required in BB house... plus she is against Sana and Sid.. that again is not going well with Salman or BB house.... If u notice the way the groups where formed to voting by Sid. which is again Baised.. but as we all know salman, few of their members can be baised.. but who r against them in the WKW they will start giving their lectures and the host will be the most baised one…. If today Paras as sanchalak will be really biased and support sid team then he will be questioned in a mild way or ignored.. Though i never felt Shenaaz was biased or HImanshi was wrong the Captaincy task nor in her duties.. but we all noticed how BB and salman bashed and plus no celebration of birthday... Hence they bought 3 people in her group so that Bhau or HImanshi is selected by so called Shukla to eliminate one of them
