Beautifully written Gur. They did dirty to their protagonist.

I would’ve gotten on board with flaws and other side to Babita’s character but the end was really cruel. The Mother in her and the spirit, love she held for her Mini, was crushed beyond explanation. Ahh well.

I am waiting for your story/stories. Likh de kuch aisa ki RS ki bhi chhutti ho jaye. 😎

Nothing wrong with making connections in this industry. That’s how you survive.

But everybody is in this business with open eyes. Koi yaha masoom nahi hai. Just that fans always want to run with the narrative that my favorite is sabse best, saaf dil wala, dayalu mahatma. 😆

Anyways. RS is really partial though. She writes characters arc as per her personal relations to actor/actress off screen. Now I know why HS was redeemed before leap. And why we got so meaningful HS and Mini scenes whereas for others, all was left to “implied” mode. 🤔

Yup! I don’t care actors made connection via this show. Everyone does.

But for RS to compromise on Babita’s character because of her equation with the actor is just dumb and petty. She definitely is partial. Yup, I can see why she redeemed HS at the end and we got those HS-Mini scenes. I don’t care about PS, but the character Babita deserved a better character arc, and better ending. Now this is called being egoistic lol.

I know. If they had so much of a problem with Paridhi, replace her. Why take that out on Babita? That’s so immature I can’t begin to explain.

Seriously. However replacing Babita wouldn't do it but I know what you are saying.

The most absurd thing is that she butchered her own creation, Babita, protagonist of her story.

RS should learn some professionalism from Ekta.

I know we have discussed this million times but again RS and Paridhi having a fall out could be the reason for butchering Babita’s character to this extent and all the redemption only done in implied mode. Like you, many others must have seen Babita in their mothers or their mothers in Babita. Babita wasn't anything extraordinary. She truly was the average Indian woman and anyone could relate or connect to her on some form or another. What made her incredible was her persistence and sheer determination to keep moving forward. She was an extremely shy woman who didn't like to engage in confrontations. She preferred to keep to herself and not call a lot of attention to herself. Yet, when the situation called for it, she bucked up and faced the problem head on. That strength that all mothers are famous for, she was the embodiment of it. Yes, she struggled and yes, she didn't have all the answers to the problems she faced, but that never stopped her from trying.

What I found extremely distasteful is the way the writers went ahead and insulted every single woman out there. Whether she was a business woman, or a housewife, a divorced / widowed woman, a single mother, or a woman who enjoys being with her husband - they were all insulted in some form or another by KK. And for what? To create drama? KK ka matha sach mein phod gaya.

I said this before, Hanita ke bina inki gaadi aage nahi chal sakti. Paridhi toh aane se rahi. Ab toh sirf AD ka hi sahara hai.

Nothing's confirmed. The conversation seemed really casual. Something more like what friends would say. She may have something for him down in the pipeline but as of right now, I don't think he'll be working with her. He has other projects lined up.
