And that way only. You and few others are great writers. Maybe one day one of you will redeem the creators appalling outcome.

Thank you again for your beautiful and touching summary Gur.

Thank you Chrys.

Babita is a truly inspirational character. She wasn't OTT, or flashy like all the other FLs. She was average, simple and very much a common woman. You go out into the world, and you're guaranteed to find a Babita. To see her triumph over her circumstances gave me so much courage and confidence. I remember often thinking to myself, surely if Babita can do it then so can you. If she can pick herself up after being torn apart in court, then you sure as hell can do xyz. Yes, she's a fictional character but the courage and inspiration she gave was real.

I am planning on rewriting PB circa Imarti's track for a while now. I have a lot of tracks and the outline done. It's simply a matter of getting the actual chapters written down now. Hopefully I can finish the first chapter by the end of this week.

She was crushed by a early marriage and than by her daughter as well, who was always putting her down and not letting her make her decisions at time with like Babes, you don't know anything as this is wrong etc.

Minnie was wrong to throw her ideas onto Babes and not accept an alternate answer. Her intentions may have been good, but her approach was not. It's the same thing with Babita. She had the best of intentions for Minnie, but her approach to her at times faltered. Babita also lacked confidence to stick by to her own choices. She caved into Minnie's ways quite often when she should have stuck to her guns. If it ends up being a mistake, then that's fine. At least it was her mistake to make, and it can be something that she can learn from. But by depriving her of that, they greatly crippled her.

It's horrifying what they did to her. We all know the tragedy of HS and the ongoing suffering of Minnie and Arya, but no one really pauses to think about Babita. They just saw her as the villain towards the end and left it at that.

And now THIS, looks like such a big failure.

Disaster.

CVs, you suck. You really do.

But nothing takes away the fact that she has always been a fighter. A mother. A wife. A daughter in law. People didn't let her be the woman she wanted to be. But koi nahi.

Kisiko pata ho na ho, mujhe pata hai Babita kaun hai. Woh ek misaaal hai.

It's the same with me. I love HS to pieces but agar baat connection ki aati hai toh, then that's with Babita. There's a reason why all my stories are written in her POV and not any other character. She's the one that I connected the most to, and found it easy to get inside her head because of just how much I could relate.

The CVs may have let her down, but she will never fail at my hands. <3

This is what I pointed just a few days ago. Hanita ke begair inki gaadi ni chalne wali. Minnie on her own doesn't have any story. All the interesting material was with Hanita. Now, to keep the viewers hanging on, they're baiting them by dangling Hanita in front of them. Unfortunately, it's not gonna work this time around. We're done with their BS. They wanted to tell a story featuring Minnie? Then go right at it. We're just not gonna watch.

This is so sad that itv is still not ready to come out of their regressive shell. Matured audience have already started shifting to web series. While people like me just switch off the tv or watch english shows rather than watching all the s**t going on in itv in the name of entertainment.

It's all a vicious cycle. People don't create good content these days and when they do, audiences do not encourage or appreciate them, which in turn leads to even more cheesy, regressive, and silly shows being created.

At times I wonder how the artistes are able to enact such scenes and dialogs, but I guess some of them do it for survival in the industry.

I am still dumbfounded that RS could have done this to a female protagonist, that indeed a woman can be another woman's worst enemy. There are loads of women in Babita's situation or worse and the treatment of this character was just full of injustice in the last stretch.

Did she really have to make the ultimate sacrifice in order for her efforts to be appreciated and recognized? That's the ugly face of society (and KK I guess - sorry for saying this).

Jean. 🤗

A woman doing this to another is going to be the most upsetting part of this whole mess. It's not even just one woman who has had to suffer, but multiple all thanks to the gigantic ego RS / KK has.

Well, you were asking for the ultimate sacrifice to be made by HS too so that Minnie can finally realize his worth and value in her life. I guess Babita had to do the same for Minnie to finally wake up. 🤔

But the thing is even after their death, I don't think she has truly understood them. She couldn't accept them with their flaws while they were alive. Post their death, she's going to romanticize everything and as I suspected, everything about Hanita is being centered around her. Dunno how to explain it exactly but it's like as long as everything is centered around her, it's all well and fine. But the moment the attention goes away from her, she'll throw a huge fit and start throwing her tantrums.

Baby steps perfectly explains her. She's not like Minnie who would run head first and grab for the skies. Babita is tentative, hesitant and very cautious. Still, with these baby steps, she moves forward. She stumbles but then she picks herself up and tries again. That's what made her so incredibly beautiful.

I definitely think the race for TRP is at fault here. Having a limited number of episodes and a seasoned format would have done this show (and many other) shows a lot of good.
