And whatever whatever were the rumours.. a daily soap actor cant work with these conditions unless ur an amitabh bachan , n he also comes Saturday Sunday or whatever fixed days..the story is written on daily basis, it changes every week with trps ,if a certain actors presence is required for the story and he isnt available , they change it ...the whole track looks senseless.....first they were not clear on what his character is , n whatever they tried failed ..not just him, the leads turned more ridiculous than they already were..at least they did one good thing by chucking him out..
Still I was thinking about ektas justification on two men fighting over a woman not working on indian tv...does she think creating this temporary may be /could be/ almost / arrangement of pre anu komo shadi wife sautan is something to be very proud of ? And the male version of it ..if a woman is married and here ,she was properly married , her lover and husband fighting for her , will this ever work ? Itna himmat hai toh get anurag and komo properly married or anupre properly married and then see if it works ? Anyone will say first clear ur mess , get divorced and love whoever you want to ! Or am I reading it wrong ? That there is a difference between two situations?
I agree with everything you have stated Charu...
There can be a number of reasons for Bajaj's track failure. Bad writing and bad execution are a couple of things that are constant in the Show since very long. This is something that everyone, irrespective of the fandoms agree with, not to mention the neutral ones like you.
I don't know the terms and conditions under which the actor was brought in to enact Bajaj's character. But if rumors are to be believed, he was the highest paid among the cast. As you have rightly said, TRPs govern the success of any track. The track was not any better or worse in terms of TRP than it is at present. But the huge promotional cost of Swiss Track (Rumors had that it amounted to around INR 40 crores), supposed high remuneration for the actor and retinue (Kuki, Masi, Tanvi) and not very impressive TRP --- it was obvious that the cost was not worth the revenue being churned. Of course, there could be other reasons for Chanel's decision, but that is what meets the eye at the onset. But now to blame channel for being obsessed with the leads???? C'mon SP is not a philanthropist organization to lose money on social cause of making a fandom happy. And to say Bajaj was not given a fair chance-- Didn't the entire story revolved around him since the day the character stepped in? From grey to ultra white to black to white again in the span of four months-- If that was not considered as giving enough screen space, I don;t know what is.
@ Bold : Don't torture yourself Charu, just watch it as comic relief. I love AnuPre, but of late I don't get the same vibes or same rush of adrenaline when they show up on my screen. The Show had made mockery of all things sacred like marriage, sindur, mangalsutra and even deities like Durga ma. I wonder why a hardcore Hindu organization has not caused any hullabaloo over such a blatant disrespect of Hinduism. I feel bad for actors as I have seen their respective capability in their previous Shows.
Polygamy and Polyandry are the new in things... I wonder if Ekta is making this Show for the civilized Homo Sapiens of 21st Century or representing the Neanderthals of far off days.
