bold2 - You know I'm sure they tried really hard to take a similar route with kzk. But somehow, it didn't work beyond a certain point unlike Eku's other serials which continue to dish out similar trash year after year and are yet TRP gainers! With kzk, she was completely out of depth after a point and the show ran like a headless chicken trying everything and failing. I put the onus completely on kzk audience. For the first time, in this show, I saw TRPs reflecting fan sentiments. Varna toh other show people keep crying kitna bore kar rahe hain band karo band karo, and in return their shows get highest TRPs😆 She must be cursing the day she decided to rEbOoT this old show. Apart from all the issues with the writing and characterization of the protagonists and the antagonists, I think the biggest problem with KZK2 is that it is a reboot of her hit show. Sure, KZK got its initial audience because of the nostalgia factor but I genuinely don't think the neutral audience would have liked to see a repeat of the original season. Her bhagya series are working in spite of the same shit writing because people watching it don't know what is going to happen next. There is curiosity .With KZK , they know..Komolika will come and go..then Bajaj will come and marry Prerna...then Komolika will come back and kill the baby ..then Bajaj will come again ....its really predictable. Either bring new characters as antagonists or bring back the iconics with some good twists. The trps fell when Anurag married Komolika...(anybody can go back and check the ratings then) but Prerna coming back as dhaaga wife (no matter how stupid it was) was something new.Hence that track worked. I am sure if they had followed the exact track as in S1, the first Kom track too would have bombed.

Let me add one more and that is the lack of novelty factor and the proof is NB track.

That was something novel and totally unpredictable character and track. I won't want to repeat why it worked for new viewers, but it was obvious that even S1 viewers gave this track a go because of unpredictability factor, just that the actor and his top-notch acting caliber were the added brownie points.

Writing, execution and camera angles had glitches even then. Actors, especially NB's baby went OTT even then, characters like Ronit took a complete U turn even then, but the Show still did well on the charts despite all the glitches and shortcomings, didn't it?

I believe the reasons behind bajaj failure are many..it has been debated so many times n always we end up fighting bec we know nothing ....he was brought in for a supposedly high amount.. very high..limited working hours ? And whatever whatever were the rumours.. a daily soap actor cant work with these conditions unless ur an amitabh bachan , n he also comes Saturday Sunday or whatever fixed days..the story is written on daily basis, it changes every week with trps ,if a certain actors presence is required for the story and he isnt available , they change it ...the whole track looks senseless.....first they were not clear on what his character is , n whatever they tried failed ..not just him, the leads turned more ridiculous than they already were..at least they did one good thing by chucking him out..

Still I was thinking about ektas justification on two men fighting over a woman not working on indian tv...does she think creating this temporary may be /could be/ almost / arrangement of pre anu komo shadi wife sautan is something to be very proud of ? And the male version of it ..if a woman is married and here ,she was properly married , her lover and husband fighting for her , will this ever work ? Itna himmat hai toh get anurag and komo properly married or anupre properly married and then see if it works ? Anyone will say first clear ur mess , get divorced and love whoever you want to ! Or am I reading it wrong ? That there is a difference between two situations?
