The thing is why does he need bar when there is liquid ? Zabardasti issue ? The rest were just asking him coz it makes no sense. He was the one shutting everyone up so obvs they will be irked ...

Well lets watch the episode and see why he specifically requested for a bar soap.

Maybe he rightly thought that liquid soap runs out much more quickly in comparison to a bar soap. So perhaps he was trying to save the liquid soap for later.

Point being if he was deliberately trying to pick a fight with Sid then he would have been much more aggressive and instigative but he isn't.

He's very calmly discussing with Sid. It's only after Paras starts picking on him when Asim's aggression goes up a notch and so does Paras's.
