True...it is old school. I completely understand your pov. But I think they are defying tradition by falling in love so if they show it the old school way it's alright.

I find old school kinda cute though.

What I liked yesterday was, Kh Kaka showed a spine and took a stand. May be AR will make some arrangements for them cause he can't see Asa sad. Also liked the way Shubhra convinced Aajoba yesterday. I am really fed up watching Somya & Pradnya and their antics, not only because the tracks associated with them but the main theme of the serial doesn't require such tracks and negativity.

I think Pradnya tracks have been added just to contrast with Asa's character and could have been cut down quite a bit without affecting the story. But, IMO, Somya's track has to be there because there has to be some amount of resistance to the couple's marriage otherwise the serial will end in no time.

Resistance from a caring possessive son would have more sense than Soham's selfish money minded full of himself.

Agreed, but a wayward son will be more of a challenge for AR to set right rather than just a possessive son (and possibly more episodes 😊)

Jokes apart, agree completely. How is it possible that a person is a liar, greedy, lazy, disrespectful, materialistic, unethical at the same time and a smart girl like Shubhra doesn't sense his nature, inspite of spending all those college years with him, and marries him? And even now she hasn't sensed his evil thoughts to blackmail AR....

As per the general practices of the TV channels, whatever you have written above, is quite possible. But I would be happy if they show mental turmoil of Somya & Aajoba regarding the marriage, than showing Somya engaged in such antics and Aajoba shouting and insulting AR & Asa every now and then. Even I am expecting Asa's resistance. Asa accepting AR as her partner should be a slow process full of positive events and shouldn't be within a couple of episodes.

From the promo at least Asa does not show any outright shock as it happened in the first proposal fiasco at Abhi's kitchen. So the process is already going at the correct pace. IMO she is already convinced that he is the right man. But she may express her doubts about Aajoba's and Somya's concurrence to the alliance.
