Mehak Sharma the topper of medical and Shaurya the topper of commerce. Their pics on the scholar board hanging in school were together. Mehak's heart fluttered. She felt so happy. She was in love with Shaurya Khanna since 9th when she entered the school for very first time. He was her classmate who helped her in everything. They became best friends. Both used to talk to each other about every single things. They knew each other so very much. Their personal problems, family problems, conceptual problems, weak points, strong points. Every thing about each other in short. They use to be the problem solver to each other. They knew each other's dreams and always encouraged each other. Today was the day when their ways will become completely parted away from each other. Mehak's heart was crying so much that she was not happy that she got 98.9% marks in +2. She knew that Shaurya will go to London for business studies and its her parent's wish to keep her near to them. So, she cleared NEET exam and got admission at AIIMS. All her family members were so happy. They invited each and every relative, family friend, Mehak's friend from Indore and Delhi. Mehak's father was ACP so due to his transfer they shifted to Delhi from Indore four years ago. In that party Shaurya also came to congratulate her. Mehak's smile became wider seeing him. She enjoyed that with her friends, cousins whole night. At the end when it was Shaurya's turn to take leave he said Goodbye bestie, Happy b'day in advance. I will wish face to face on your 22nd b'day now. I'm leaving after three days. Mehak's smile dropped. She composed herself and Said All the Best for the future. Bye but I want you to be the first to wish me on my 22nd b'day then. She faked the smile. Shaurya chuckled Of-course, I'll be the one.(And I'll marry you after that. I love you and I'll make you mine as you are only mine, he thought) Mehak smiled from heart and said I'll wait for you. Once again All the Best for studies, career and handling girls. It has been five years for their last meet. Shaurya became the most successful businessmen in just five year. He owned the world's best food chain. Mehak became the best cardiologist of Delhi in year span. Both were successful in their life. Even being away from each other didn't affected their bond. They still were each other's problesolver, advisers. One day, They were doing video-chat on Hangouts, Mehak suddenly asked My 22nd b'day is after a month. Do you remembered your promise? Shaurya smiled and said How can I forget. I'm getting my degree on the 5 of this month. Then I'm coming back to Delhi. Mehak said well you are so smart. You became the best hotelier even before completing your studies huh. Shaurya said hmm and my Golu is so intelligent. She became best cardiologist of Delhi and cures everyone's heart. Huh. He used the same tone. At that time, A nurse came and said Mam, Mr. Mehra came. today is him appointment. Should I send him in? Mehak said with smile, after 2 minutes Naina. Naina left after nodding. She turned to Shaurya and said Bye, We will talk later. Shaurya said Bye. They both got engrossed in their work.
It was just a day before Mehak's b'day but Shaurya didn't came and Mehak was sad. She didn't went home that day and stayed at hospital reading the patient's file. She can't concentrate on any work.
She sat on her chair with eyes closed. Soon the nurse came and said Mam, Its emergency a patient can't breath please come fast. Mehak said Okay I'm coming. Arrange things. Nurse left. She washed her hands and took her stethoscope and went to the emergency ward. She was shocked to see it full decorated and it was written beautifully on the four different cakes in queue 'HAPPY B'DAY MY LOVE'. When Mehak read it she became confused Who is her lover? She was thinking hard. Soon shaurya came from behind and said'Happy b'day love of my life. Happy B'day my fake girlfriend. Happy b'day meri Golu. Happy b'day Mehak. See I'm the first one to wish you.' Mehak shed happy tears and said Thank you. When did you came? As I know you were still in London. Shaurya smiled and said I was in India from two weeks. Didn't told you. I wanted to surprise you. He winked. Let's cut the cake. Mehak got angry. Mehak said its not for me. Its for your love and I am just your best friend. Shaurya got nervous. He said you are love of my life Mehak since I saw you for the very first time. Sorry I kept this as secret from you too. Sorry. Now please cut the cake. Mehak said NO! First propose me only then I'll cut the cake. Shaurya was shocked. Mehak laughed and said in between Shaury you must have seen your face from last two minutes. Shaurya said Acha. He started tickling her she begged him to stop. Once he stopped She said Now propose me fast. I was waiting for this since nine years. Now I can't wait any more. Fast. Shaurya bend down on his knee and said Mehak since I saw you for the first time, My heart skipped thousand beats only then. I fell in love with you. This feeling grew each day more and more. These last five years were so difficult for me. But they made my love grow for you to million fold. Now I can't wait to marry you. So, will you marry me.
Mehak was smiling that her cheeks will pain tomorrow. She was nodding her head constantly. Shaurya stood up. So, now I should kiss my to be wife. I deserve it. Mehak narrowed her eyes and said only after marriage Mr Khanna. Now lets cut the cake. They fed each other and captured the moment in the picture.
