RS Deepu and Alia ..Whenever they started with Ayushman naya superstar thing..It felt like they were mocking him or degrading him..Really it was pathetic how stupid they were behaving..They were like this high school pseudo cool gang..Who were acting all high and mighty..But actually were the worst of the lot

Also how dumb did these three sounded all throughout..I wanted to really throw my earphones everytime any of this trio started talking

Rest all seemed to make sense..Don't like Vijay D much though.

Came here to read good feedback and all I got is childish fan war between members. Not even 10 comments are discussing the content of this 1 hour+ conversation.

Surprised the movies that made big impact on audience like Barfi and English Vinglish (inspired a movie like queen) did not make it to the list. Lot of the mentioned films in the list I guarantee many people are not even aware of those films. PK makes it to the list but Oh My God dealing with the same topic, release long before PK is not on the list.

I TBH found this one quite bearable and not the cringe dear I expected after seeing names like Alia, Deepika and Ranveer.

Let me give my points regarding everyone:

(a) Anupama: She did a decent job, although I wished she kept aside her love for Ranveer.

(b) Ranveer: Ranveer , jaise bhi maha chaman chutiya hai. I have noticed that lightens the atmosphere. I mean his "The Ayushmann" gig, because so popular by the end, even Parvathi and Manoj Bajpayee at one point said it. Ranveer didn't contribute much in terms of insights, as he is a regular guy. His main purpose in group gathering is to be the guy who fools around and who lightens the mood and makes people comfortable.

(c) Deepika: Firstly, that dress was looked uncomfortable. I don't mind cleavage show or hot dresses(why would I), but I think the person wearing it should at least be comfortable, Deepika looked so uncomfortable in that. Deepika as usual didn't provided much insight, but I do feel that had more to do with her not being able to explain herself, rather than her not having any points. Although she was quite articulate to put her point about Indians getting influenced by movies, but other than that she as usual struggled to word her opinions and points in a eloquent form. Also her answer to the actors/actress/film person, showed that Deepika was never an actress, but a model who turned as an actress. Hence she had no clear choice.

(d) Aloo: Alia is so paranoid personification. She gets so loud while talking it is funny. Although I think Alia, unlike many other actresses, isn't exactly a wannabe activist. Hence when she puts forward her points, even in the most gibberish and inarticulate manner, she always tried to find middle road and balance things. While I am not saying that is always a correct thing, but that is what her personality seems like. I mean I found it hilarious when VD and DP were arguing about who takes the risk more male or female actors, Alia became the mediator and explain in both the points in a conclusive manner, even though incoherent manner.

(e) Ayushmann Khurana: I wish he spoke more, his points were clear and he sounded quite mature. But it was quite noticeable that guy was there to hear about what others have to say than speak.

(f) Vijay Sethupathi: This guy is a simple man with few words, although whatever he said, there was no fakeness and pure heart to mouth stuff. I loved whenever he was speaking, Manoj Bajpayee was listening to him with so much care and affection. Sign of a great actor respecting and admiring another great actor. Also it was hilarious that out of everyone present there, Vijay S had the most engaged conversation with Alia of all people, although hyper chomu Alia cutting of Vijay S in one of those interactions made me cringe, I felt like chup kar chomu, a legend is speaking.

(g) Parvathi: This girl looks educated and articulate, while having an opinion about things, not some one who is afraid to speak. And the best thing was, she wasn't imposing herself onto others, something which the so called feminists do. She was giving her opinion and willing to hear what others have to say. Although I dunno, she may be like every other person, but from the group discussion, it didn't seemed like that. And seems like Ranveer won over her, not like romantic or crush thing, but that she seemed like she would definitely hang out with him. Also her face really brighten up when Alia said about every legendary actresses in the same room, talking about their experiences and views.

(h) Manoj Bajpayee: Manoj like Ayushmann, didn't speak as much, as I wanted him to. Manoj is kinda of that guy, who believes that he should empathise with his character to get the pulse and nuance of the character, hence you will never see him outright critique something like Kabir Singh/Arjun Reddy. Yes that may make him a bad person in eyes of few, but I don't think he gives a fcuk. I also loved his point, that isn't this what we all wanted, to have different actors from different spectrums coming together and discussing stuff, whether they agree or not is secondary, but the discussion is happening is important.

(I) Vijay D: I can sense one thing that Vijay D is tried of people making him a monster and bad guy for justifying and buying into the idea of KS/AR and especially Venga. Like it is quite evident, he wasn't looking for arguments, even when he disagreed with Deepika, it wasn't confrontational disagreement rather a "No I don't buy into that" type of disagreement. So he didn't properly contribute much insight, as during the whole discussion, it looked like he was avoiding to be a part of a controversy, while he did put forward his points regarding why he did Arjun Reddy and how he bought to the Venga's vision. He sounded quite reasonable to me. The only time he was quite active and interested was when he was discussing the Ranbir Kapoor and Meryl Streep.

Overall it wasn't an insightful and "wow" type of interviews, but it was a bearable and play one time watch. Alia and Ranveer didn't provided as much cringe as I thought they would, so that was a big plus.

It's a biased list.
