I think we could've seen the real power of Sridevi's stardom as all her fans would've came to watch her last time in the theaters.

Sridevis peak was 1986 till 1991, in Indian box office mom and english was release after long retirement so it needed good wom to do well, whilst EV was a hit in India and super hit it overseas, mom was underperformed in India and blockbuster overseas if we take the China collection. I think if mom had of released after her death it would of got better collection in India.

You can’t measure yesteryays megastar with the current generation of superstars just like you can’t compare BigB era with the khans or kumar.

This is almost borderline distasteful, but of course, any former superstar queen or king passing away would have a HUGE impact on the film's posthumous release. Look at Pakeezah.

No one's real stardom power can and should be measured by a posthumous release of his or her film.
