Dharma benefited from SRK..YRF was already a big name but it found more success with SRK..KJo himself said that though Yash Johar was a reputed name in industry the kind of success they had with SRK was beyond what they saw earlier..maybe once he called Shah a father figure coz he was close to his dad like a buddy..

So ya the trio was a collaboration that worked..nobody made anybody.
