We don't know what happened to them yet. It will be reveled in S2. The way these three drifted apart is just cruel 😒

@Bold - Yes! I really hope so too. Its such a tragedy that the show about mother-daughter would end up like this. Babita to die knowing and regretting she lost Mini (because I know she will regret for the rest of her life), and for Mini to never be able to see her mother again. Mini was right, Babita will always be her mother, and for Babita too, Mini will always be her daughter. I just can't understand why they had to end it like this. Its just heartbreaking 💔

I feel exactly the same way. I thought today/tomorrow I'd be done with the show but they brought up themes that we'd worked so hard to accept and then stirred the hornet's nest again all of last week, especially with the HS-Minnie scenes.

You know how tough it was for me to watch the connection nahi bana paya scene, then reconcile with the current state of things, only to be thrown back into turmoil because of that voice-over scene where they finally became bapu-chhori, at least in their hearts. Today's farewell scene and the locket bit just left me devastated.

And yes, in all this it just stood out even more how even on his way out HS enthralled and moved us, as did Aniruddh's magic on screen. His sheer presence on screen is so powerful that you can't focus on anything else. It's their loss that they couldn't make the most of what he was so eagerly willing to offer with his craft.

I am so glad we got to see him portray a myriad of shades and emotions because I don't think we'd have learned to appreciate his caliber and range otherwise. This has left me hungry for more of him. I am defo gonna go back and watch all his work so that I can see how he's grown as an actor over the years.

The HS & Minnie scenes came out of nowhere and punched me in the gut. Where the heck were they in the past 3 months?? The few moments that they had were so powerful and left me wanting so much more. It seriously reminded me of the olden days where everyone used to get strong material, but here everything was disjointed. HS & Minnie got good material, but they couldn't show us something between Babita and Minnie or Babita and HS? Babita was a huge disappointment on so many fronts.

When Aniruddh doesn't have something to perform, I feel incredibly insulted. Pre wedding, there were many moments where he stood by and listened but I never felt so offended by it. But when he was just silently standing by when Babita went to apologize to the Khuranas, it felt so off.

I am too! I tried to watch that Dev show that Mahi recommended but I just couldn't get into it. Largely because more than half the episode was muted because of copyright issues, but also because no one else compares to what Aniruddh brings to the screen.

This is true but given the way things had ended between Minnie and Ashok, I doubt she would have gone to him for any reason. It had to be Hanita otherwise she would have never gone back.

Thats the worse part of all this. And they will never get to because Babita will die. What a bunch of BS.... Sadistic writers.

It all boiled down to ego for her at the end. Up until the last moment, she was trying to emotionally blackmail Minnie into staying back saying that she didn't care for her mother's feelings and was hence going away.

It’s not about hating Mini because I don’t. But everything was done to garner sympathy for Mini in S2. Exactly, the aim was for us to root for Mini. But if the other 2 characters are ruined to this extent, I can’t root for Mini or for the show. If they wanted to axe HS and Babita’s character to make way for story to focus mainly on Mini in S2 , fine that’s justified but they could have gone about it in a better way, without butchering these characters.

Babita wasn’t this person. They went against her basic core characteristics and butchered her to this extent. Not denying Babita has ego. She does, but so does HS and so does Mini and so do the khuranas and so does NB. But Babita’s was heightened to such an extreme level.

Well S1 has ended now and in such a way that they have broken our hearts and hopes of many people.

Towards the end they actually managed to make me feel the most sorry for her but I can't forgive nor accept what KK did to the characters.

Despite the beautiful location of Manali, it'll be infected with sadness, tragedy, and death. The hope that was spread throughout the first 180, is nowhere to be seen anymore. It's all gone, and it's become just about "survival".

I never felt sympathy for any character since this fiasco started simply because I know they used one character and butchered her to the last piece to Garner the sympathy.. Neither Hanuman, nor Mini could generate any sympathy in me..

I am curious about one thing though.. how could the egoistic, docile, society ki fikar wali Babita Rai two such confident and bindas type daighters😆
