These scenes again show that "log kya kahenge" was a constant backdrop issue for Babita....she could never properly emerge from it.

HS again joked back then ki "live in" hi kar lete hain....lol he even tried to explain to her that she shouldn't focus on what people are saying....people need to change their mindsets about divorcees and widowers remarrying.

Mini also tried to explain to Babita in the same epi to stop fixating on all this.....but Babita ultimately couldn't really......it always festered underneath....so I guess it was bound to come out at some point as it did after the wedding.

Regardless, HS is SO sweet in these scenes😆

Yes she never came out of the log kya kahenge thing sadly...HS was super cute in these scenes..😆 the way he sang and tried to make her smile, then woh facial karaya hai apne main dekhke bata sakta hun ji

Did you notice the way his smile faded at the end of the first scene? Even as he was trying to cheer her up with jokes and light antics, he could sense even then that this would remain a lingering issue with her.....she kept coming back to it.

Whatever people said to her about her life and relationships always impacted her and made her feel that Log have a point about what they are saying 🤷‍♀️.....back then it was about her thinking people are right to point out her marrying at 35 when she has a 17 year old daughter 🙄.....later it became about her thinking people are right to point out that her daughter is becoming another Meeta 🙄 or that her daughter is apne baap ki hi beti 🙄

Even NB sensed it in the scene the morning after Babita left her house over the fight with Lovely.....her dialogues in that scene are even more relevant given how Babita's character is ending. NB asked Babita then also ki jhoot ke upar jhoot ki itni parat chadhaa li hai ki tu use sach maanne lagi hai.....she's lied to herself for so long, suppressed so many things that she started believing her own twisted manufactured reality.

NB also tells her in that scene ki Mini ko nahin pata ki tujhe Lovely se nahin, khud se ladna hai....so many of these things were built up along the way....the writers dropped many hints in the build up to the wedding....the signs were all there about where this would go.

Now that you say it omg so true!! I know what they chose to show can actually happen but the fact remains for me that real life me sab hi dukh jhel te hai, I would have really loved had they given something a little more positive towards the end...but nonetheless last week's episodes have been good despite the tragic ending...I haven't seen yesterday's yet but from the written updates, looks like a heartbreaking one again...
