Who is the most bankable box-office star in Bollywood currently? (Male and female both)

According to me:

Male: Salman Khan

Female: Deepika Padukone

Male : Salman Khan

Female : Alia Bhatt

No one. Script and audience decide the fate of the movie.

Male: Salman( opening) & Akshay (hits)

Female : Katrina, Alia

Salman and female alia

Male : for blockbuster opening (Salman, SRK) , Highest grossing (Aamir), High Chance of Hits (Akki, now Ayushman)

Female : NONE , none of the female stars have star power to pull the audience to theaters. yes NONE , unless backed by good star or storyline, none of today's generation actress has pull like yesteryears Hema Malini, Sirdevi or Madhuri .

First read what the TM is asking. Who is the biggest box office star CURRENTLY? Semi-retired actresses don't count. So by default Alia is the biggest female box office star even though she's not bankable.

All the other actresses are too new to be compared to Alia. Plus isnt she legendary? so why not compare her with Deepika etc?
