You have used the word "app", that means you watch on a phone. I watch on a laptop so I I use adblock plus on Chrome and UC browser blocks ads by default. You can install Firefox on your android and use it. It has a built in adblocker.

If you want a general adblocker for android then Adblock plus is also available for android. You can google search and install it. Don't install from play store as that is fake and will not work. Also you will need to configure it if your device in not rooted. The instructions are on the website.

It is easier to just use a browser like Firefox in case you are not comfortable with configuring proxy settings.
