Good point. I've not been following the soap for couple of weeks now. I remember the commissioner was soon suspicious of the person who got hit by Tanya. It's not that it never occurred to them that Mahesh can be suspected. Inspite of that Rohit gave him a job, shared all plans in front of him, sent him along with Sona, let him stay over at Sona's house. When Sona got molested, she couldn't see his face, but I thought she'll remember the bandage in his hand and when he came to ask for a job, I thought both Sona and Rohit knew and wanted solid evidence to hand him over ! Moreover, even in normal households there is always a small gang of cousins / friends next to the girl ... to dress her up / to make sure she has eaten .... here Sona seems to be alone all the time inspite of the high security !
True, women always have a group of cousins or friends with them to help them get ready for the wedding but here sona is all alone. Not even her sister is there to help her. It is so annoying to see them throw realism in the dustbin just for this drama.
This blind trust of everyone in Mahesh..what can I say..he is able to carry out such evil plans nonstop with not a single suspicion falling on him despite being a stranger and hovering around Sona all the time. Now because he saved Sona from the fire, whatever little doubt Rohit had has also vanished. I was really hoping for a smart ML this time but thats just not possible in ITV it seems.
