The CD thing made her feel he really dosent accept me as daughter so that stopped the progression of accepting him as father. For mini I believe HS is more than father. And father ka place ashok had all these years. The position of father dosent hold a very nice place in her thought. So for her to give HS that position it would take a lot of time. Some relations spoil so much that us rishte se hi roob jate hai. That is what happened to mini. She can accept HS as friend mentor hero anything. Father ka place dena hoga to there will be a comparison in her mind about both and it dosent help that she is trying to block ashok away from her mind. And secondly I have never seen mini comparing ashok HS after she confronted ashok for complaining against HS. Babita has kept comparing hs and ashok and keeps going back to it but mini has never compared them.

Perhaps that's what both of them need to realize. Rather than focus on the 'father' role, they both need to acknowledge that he is far more than her father, has a much more elevated status. Despite her disappointment with him, on some level he is still her hero and will always be. Not all fathers can achieve this and HS managed to do it without even trying. They naturally belong with each other. ❤️
