No in that moment she genuinely believed in it and was starry eyed about their new happy family. What she failed to catch was that a father is a specific role in a family and doesn't work in isolation of other roles. I don't blame her, she just never saw that growing up with the Khuranas. With these three it was always about their independent equations with each other, which is fine, but you need family bonding as a whole too.

If HS hadn't lost all his confidence he would have taken charge of things and really been head of the household. His no more tears policy, though well-intentioned, led to their new setup being messed up because no one was at the helm.

Exactly! Even when Babita mentioned starting a family, Minnie was the first thing that came to his mind and he said they already had a daughter. ❤️

I don't know, I think it would be even sadder if he dies leaving such a young child behind. He won't rest in peace. I'd rather he die leaving only Minnie behind, knowing that she is his Veer Balika and can survive. Now that I'm writing this, I'm starting to feel bad for Minnie. I don't know if in season 2 she will think about him at all or if she will also go through a complete personality transformation.

OMG I was just thinking about this. That it'll be harder for him to leave his child alone. But then I strongly believe that it's the joy that you've experienced in life that matters. Ghut ghut ke dabb ke jeena, though without responsibility se better se khushi se jeeyo aur kal ki mat socho. Waise bhi koi kuch lekar nahi jaata.

Mini SHOULD ideally have fond memories of HS and should have a small guilt in her heart that she could never reciprocate his love.

He was now sure Mini never wanted him as father and completely turned himself to Babitha . This is what I observed during phere sequence.

Whatever happened during CD fiasco was completely HS's fault. But I feel Mini should not have judged him by that one incident . At least she could have told him how she had felt when he was apologizing.

@bold yes, exactly yet the truth is that on some level Minnie craves paternal affection but has never paid attention to her own emotional needs. His zombie state can only be explained by what you mentioned. He didn't once look at her or for her.

What he has realized over time is that even if Minnie doesn't accept him or want him as a father, he cannot stop loving her as one. His outburst during the CD fiasco was terrible but if he had come to mend fences with her without seeing both CDs, it would have had the right impact on Minnie. That bit was too out of character for HS even with all the shoddy writing. I can understand him getting angry, insecure, hurt seeing all that but she had given him no reason not to trust her or to suspect her of sabotage. He knew her well enough to know that she wasn't that type of person.

Minnie just couldn't get over that incident. It wasn't so much how things played out as the fact that it was the straw that broke the camel's back. HS maintaining his distance after that didn't help at all. In the apology scene, it was only him talking rather than the back-and-forth we'd usually see in their interactions.

It's just too sad when you think about it.

If creative do a thorough job he might not live to know about his biological child...

Well, the fact that all his emotions on this topic remain unexpressed in words is what makes it tragic but beautiful too. Dil mein sau sau ghamein le kar dum todega yeh. Somehow, I feel this would be a fitting end to his arc on the show.

I would remember HS as the man who lived and loved with everything he had, had a huge capacity to empathize with and fight for his dear ones, but died alone.
