Here though HS has lost everyone he loved. I can't even imagine the impact it had on his psyche. How can one even expect him to carry the burden of Babitha's emotional baggage?

Yes. Blood is indeed thicker than water that's why Ashok gets a chance to narrate his version of story and HS doesn't.😕

@bold yep, as I said in the other thread too:

Ashok kuch na kar ke bhi baap banne ka haq rakhta hai, aur HS apni jaan bhi dega VB ke liye to bhi woh uska baap banne ka haq nahin pa sakega.

Yes, Ashok was shown bad to every single character - his parents, his sister/her husband, babes/mini and new wife, meeta. He spared noone. Who wants his POV? Suddenly he is going to be a good father? If he was to be redeemed there was no need to show him that bad. Before he came i knew he would turn up with a GF or wife. But i did not expect him to be that bad considering show makers claimed realistic. Realistic approach was questionable from initial stage itself IMO.

today the same thing came to my mind like what about those fathers who leave their child just because they are born daughter or what about those fathers (as shown in satyamev jayate) who tried to kill his own twin daughters (by the way the guy was a surgeon by profession) as his family wanted a male child and after many years wants to reconcile with their children. On what basis will a mother let such men near their children. And after the child becomes an adult she will only know about her fathers deeds through others as they were too small to understand and would still be keen to meet the father. But the mother has first hand experience of how badly he treated her child. How will this mother feel when she comes to know that after all this the child wants to see her father. She will be broken from inside. I dont blame the child here. But i couldnt even imagine how the mother would react.😕

Of all the things they've done, this is the worst. It gives the message that parents can be as negligent as they want to but their DNA gives them a 'get out of jail free' card, literally. Simply having a child doesn't automatically give you a good parent status.

I am super disgusted by this, honestly. It's a major insult to parents EVERYWHERE in the world.

I think he said he was going to perform. He looks so dashing in his suit!

Exactly. Ashok saga baap hai toh woh kuch bhi karega, she will shut up and put up with him (which is true. This happens in real). Aur HS ko ek galti bhi allowed nahi - now this is where the problem is.

It is a greater insult to adoptive parents who shower unconditional love on kids and yet don't get any sort of recognition or acceptance.

Chee! Thu aisi soch par.

HS? Second chance? Woh kya hota hai? He has suffered since the day he was born and will do so till hi last breath. Of all the people, usko sabse zyaada zaroorat hai mukti ki.
