The combination of AD's superb acting in that bit...the way he's smiling even as tears glint in his eyes.....and then the background score....it's just an awesome scene.
The whole build up of the way he tries to indirectly figure out his place in Babita and Mini's life through the convo about where to make space for the TV.....Babita understood what he was asking and tried to give him a reply in her own indirect way.....not quite what the assurance he wanted....still a distance, but she made the effort to assure him that he didn't come between her and Mini......it was just such a brilliantly written and performed scene.
I've seen a lot of ITV shows over the years....but the way some scenes were written in this show are head and shoulders above a lot of that content....yes, even the NBT that people now think was better😆.....aisa scene toh NBT mein bhi kabhi na mila.
I love NBT for different reasons but I will unequivocally say that the writing in PB was way better. NBT succumbed to way worse ITV cliches with the bigamy twist. PB messed up in other ways but it was still a more interesting psychological study to me.

You wrote it beautifully Anu...maybe not as brilliant as the scene was but a close second 😆
@bold oh yes...yeh beauty hume NBT main bhi nahi mili thi...not that we didn't have beautiful scenes there but this was some different level of writing and characterization....and woh bigamy wala twist was much worse than what we are getting here...yaha toh fir bhi there is scope for some discussion but woh mess toh alag hi level ka tha..
