It's really a crying shame what they have done to Babita's character. Everyone is hown to be more worldly wise and progressive about financial freedom than her. Satto Chachi knew about the importance of tending to one's own business venture. Naeem Bi is managing a councillor's job and a shop all one her own. THe Khuranas have become high flying model.

Only Babita is shown as this clingy, insecure, tantrum throwing character who doesn't care anything about money.

Yes. Situation is so bad that if they replace babita with a log of wood, it won't matter to the story, heck it may become better than before.
